When I was little in the '50's, my mother always made these, otherwise I wouldn't eat my carrots !!! I love glazed carrots to this day, as it reminds me of my wonderful mother ! :)

After all these years I still find myself looking up this recipe whenever I'm cooking a roast. Toyed with the idea of doing another fancy style, but this is just so easy, I can't resist. Making these for Christmas Dinner today 👌

Made these tonight with meatloaf and cornbread! It was delicious omg!!! This is now a staple for dinner time!!

I can tell you are a TRUE family cook, always cooking the most delicious recipes fast!

I learned to cut the carrot like you. It exposes more of the inside (where the real flavor lives). May I offer you two things to consider: 1) add a half cup of bourbon. Allow the alcohol to evaporate 2) Adopt me. (just teasing) This looks soooooo good!.

These are good. It's funny how simple it is but so good. I like them with mashed potatoes and gravy. In chunky soups like beef stew or chicken stew....the carrot always taste best. No one ever thinks about the lowly carrot...from raw to soggy soft, they are so good. Thanks for the vid :)

I like the way u cut your carrot I usually cut mine in circle but your way is cute.

I just made this to serve with Heavenly Halibut recipe and Celery Root & Green Apple Salad. The bright orange carrots made such a beautiful plate. Also broiled some cherry tomatoes on the vine to put over the halibut. Served a mixed rice side as well. All were a hit. Thanks!

They look scrummy and so simple to make for Thanksgiving. I will deffo try it first before making it on the dinner table. Can I substitute turbinado sugar for the brown sugar? The molasses in brown sugar can be overpowering sometimes.
