Beetles is my first gel manicure set. I purchased the lamp with mini polishes. The polish has a smooth consistency , and not goopy. The polish also last over 2 weeks. I’m a fan. 💅🏾

I do the same with glitter gradients, I always pick out the bigger bit of glitter and add them. I will have to give the makeup sponge a try

Gabby, so as long as I wipe of the tacky coat I can do most of the stripe tape designs like you do with normal nail polish? I'm new to beetles and would like to do stripe tape designs. Thanks!

Great video, as always! Perfect clean designs! Here’s something that might be helpful for someone. I have been playing with gel polish and nail art more and more and I was really struggling with the little nail stencils that I love because the gel polish just kept running when I would peel them off, plus I couldn’t build up the polish enough in one layer and it didn’t work to cure it with it on to then add another layer. So I finally discovered an awesome tip that has helped me a ton. Mix a tiny bit of clear acrylic nail powder in with a small amount of the gel polish and it makes it just the perfect thickness. I’ve done this with a couple of the stencils and they come out beautifully. I just make this mixture on a small plastic lid or piece of foil or wax paper with a couple drops of gel polish.

What's the secret to doing the dots? I've tried doing dots with gel, but I got a little bit of colour bleeding when I added the top coat (even after curing under UV). Any advice would be appreciated :)

Can we use normal nail paints for uv light

i really want to try the gradient glitter nail with my gel polishes, but i’m scared to try the sponge because after the gel layer is cured its extremely sticky. I’m just worried that the sponge will stick to the nail and leave bits on it :(

I’ve been using beetles dip gel… why does that not need a curing light, but the liquid polishes do? 🤔

I’m worried that I won’t be able to free hand it after I remove the tape from the first layer and will make a complete mess
