    I do the same thing but I buy 5 ft T posts and screw wood 1x2's to make it as high as I need so I don't have to get high to bang them in. Saves money also...

    Great idea.🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿Got some rebar mesh just the right size for this👍and much more tolerance to high winds than bamboo canes I used last year that blew down.

    You are very welcome and thank you for visiting. We have not grown pumpkins often and when we did it was because the were volunteers that came up on there own. However I would suggest you put something under them after they start getting some size to keep them off the ground a little. Just a block of wood of something like that. Have a great day.

    If you live in a semi tropical/ tropical zone then I recommend the Seminole pumpkin; they were grown by the seminoles of Florida and will thrive in really hot climates.

    I can't post a photo here but I install the trellis the same way I did in the video and as the tomatoes grow, I weave them in and out of the wire. I have done it this way for years and found it works well. Thank you for visiting and have a great day.

    Where do you buy that kind of trellis and what size is it, I have seen chikcen wire but nothing as big as that to buy

    You can but if they get very tall it may tip over. If you expect things to get tall, it would be better to put the stakes in the ground. Good luck with your project and have a great day.

    @@kentuckymotorsports9815 In that case, I would suggest turning them tall not wide. That makes them 7 foot high. Use 2 and you got a trellis that is 7 feet tall and 7 feet wide.

    I understand. You could also price panels at Tractor Supply. Also: I have been using some of my panels for 15 to 20 years. So the cost per year is very low.
