Following this video tutorial you will crochet a clutch or small purse using easy crochet one row repeat pattern. To crochet this clutch am using 2 strands. The yarn is cotton and the hook is 5.5 mm. I have completed making it but I need to know is I need to line it and use a zip. Please let me know.

It is the best to use from 2 separate skeins, but if only one skein is used then one from the middle, but need to be careful it is not tangled.
Why use 2 strands?

Are you making it too tight? It might be the crochet hook should be bigger size.

mine too :( i am using 4ply milk cotton yarn and a 5mm hook. is that the right combination? ;( i did the 2 strands as well. and thank you so much for this tutorial. ❤ i will be giving this as a gift ☺ i hope i can finish before Christmas hehe
