Those are very pretty and elegant. I’ve been playing around with black watercolor paper which I’m placing on deep red plain cards. They look very pretty, but now I wish I had plain ivory cards as well. So many, many pretty things this season. Thank you, Ellen.

They are all very pretty.
If you add red to the metallic copper it will show up beautifully and it will match the metallic motif. Also if you add the right blue to the yellow gold it makes a beautiful metallic green.

Laura- Thanks for the color mixing hints. I tried the red into the copper and it worked well! I put green watercolor into the silver for my green, but will try your hint of putting blue into a yellow gold on my next painting.

@@amyspeckman3333 it appears the metallic she is using is water based. I have that pallet. I’m sure you could use (lightly) water down acrylics

So beautiful! 😍 I love the metallic mixed with the colors. The "theme" of my tree is always silver, white, clear, black and deep burgundy. To me silver and burgundy looks so beautiful together. Then my house I use all those colors plus woodland/vintage vibes. I've never been a fan of gold, but I love these cards. Maybe I'll try one later. 🖤

I've decorated homes with all different "themes", but I always went back to that for my house. Kind of winter wonderland feeling ❄️ I took all my decor out today 😂 I'm ready.

Lovely! How do you adhere the painting to the paper? Double sided tape is too hard for me to manage, glue doesn’t seem to stick and hot glue gun can leave the paper lumpy 😟. Help!

have you ever tried rubber cement glue?? you do it on both papers sticks amazing so put on black paper and the paper it goes on in the spot it goes on you can just put a quick swipe across top & bottom

Ellen, I'm a beginner painter and I want to know how to manage my paint pallet. It gets pretty messy but I don't want to wash all of my paints away after each session.

Use less paint so U can wash away the tiny amount that’s mixed.

shaky is good for trees!! you don't need to make precise lines- wiggle the branches same with the greenery coming down from top- the ornament might be tricky .
Couldn't hear what you were saying in the beginning, as the music was too loud. Just a FYI for future ; ) The cards were super!
Ellen when you speak with the music it's impossible to anderstand for my Who is french.
