Fudgy and Chewy Double Chocolate Chip Cookies | No Chill
:: Cook Me Food ::
These double chocolate chip cookies are super-rich, ultra-fudgy and chewy. This easy recipe only takes about 10 minutes to whip up from start to finish. If you are a chocolate lover like me, this indulgent cookie concoction will be your new addiction.
You’ll need:
• 1 cup (125g) all-purpose flour (*see notes below)
• 1/3 cup (33g) cocoa powder (preferably dutch-processed)
• 1 tsp baking powder
• 1/3 cup (76g) salted butter (melted & lightly cooled) *if salted butter is unavailable, just add 1/4 tsp salt to the flour mixture
• ½ cup (90g) brown sugar (lightly packed)
• ½ cup (100g) white sugar
• 1 whole egg + 1 egg yolk (room temperature)
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
• ¾ cup (132g) semi-sweet/dark chocolate chips + ¼ cup (44g) for topping
Makes 12 cookies
* Using 2” cookie scoop in the video
:: HELPFUL HINTS::
* Measure your flour correctly. Adding too much flour will result to dry and crumbly cookies when baked. Fluff the flour in the container before scooping it out. Lightly spoon the flour directly into the measuring cup until it mounds well above the top of the measuring cup. Using the back of the dinner knife (non-serrated side is facing the flour), sweep the knife over the top of the cup to remove the excess flour.
* Let the cookie rest in the baking pan for 5-10 minutes. Transfer to wire rack to finish cooling.

Thank you so much! I love your cookies and your simple yet effective way of teaching. I now bring the lemon sugar cookies to anything that says bring something. I found a cuisine art single mixer. I tried to cream the sugars,butter the egg. Uh mistake huge I had to get the mixture out of the holes in the sides. It took me twice as long as by my tried and true way by hand...

@Patty. I thank you most warmly for trying out this recipe and my other recipes as well.😊 I agree with using the hand mixer, aside from time spent, batter is also wasted when not properly scrape out from the beaters.

@@cookmefood I had half the batter in stuck in this foolish thing I spent and extra 15 mins trying to get the batter back I lost some to it for sure. I learned my lesson by hand is the best way to go. I made chocolate sugar cookies last night for a friend she is helping me with a project she gets to choose payment, some lemon and chocolate sugar cookies.😊

@Patty. Mixing by hand is love. Probably, the reason why our great grandmas make the best tasting cookies as there are no complex machines involved. As for the cookies, I agree that those are some wonderful payments! 😊

OMG GUYS I ACTUALLY MADE IT but I didnt add choco chips cuz I didnt wanna but yeah it turned out AMAZING SMELT AMAZING TASTED EXQUISITE MWAH I rolled it in balls on the tray then spanked em with a flat spoon so it came out cute and not as flat as those in the video but yes my family loved it so much can't wait to make them again!!!!
