Easy DIY Faux Marble Epoxy Countertop | Building a CB2 Inspired Bar!

I’ve been sourcing inspiration from a lot of places but was excited when I came across Stone Coat Countertops tutorial with a spray paint technique and a clear epoxy resin. I thought this was a great way to get my hands into some epoxy but not be terrified that I was going to mess the entire thing up as I’ve never worked with any sort of epoxy before. The kit that I originally wanted from Countertop Epoxy cost $300 and I didn’t see that being worth the investment on such a small countertop/it being my first time. This little sliver with a spray paint technique cost me roughly $130 in total from the MDF, tools, paint all the way to the epoxy clear finish. This was so easy! I am so excited to try different techniques and colored epoxy.
You have inspired me! After my first try using Stone Coat, I actually started my own resin business. But, I've been hiring out the work with power tools. I've been trying to get a little more comfortable and have been easing into it. I just used a jigsaw for the first time a few days ago so that I could make a faux agate side table using resin. You've definitely inspired me to try more!

Chop it like it’s hot. I’m doing this with my actual kitchen counters. We’ve done it with a mini kitchen island and it turned absolutely beautiful so I’m excited to see how it will look in our kitchen. We are going to go other a marble look 😍
