I already have a 72v brushless XL with a programmable Kelly control pushing 5005W. I know of a guy with a 70mph XL as well.

@@catgirlow I’m guessing that he meant the wheel spin off the ground is 70 mph, meaning that technically going downhill a bit you could hit 70. However, these are not stable enough to ride casters above 40ish mph.

From someone with a Sur Ron as well a good helmet, gloves and riding shoes with ankle support go a long way. If you're getting into jumps and high speed stunts then some form of protective jacket/spine protector would be recommended although I have to admit I do not have one. 🤙
