I absolutely love this pattern! But just a little tip for people like me who don't like weaving in the ends. Before you start the second earflap finish the string. That way you will only have to weave in one end instead of three. ❤️

You're very welcome! 😃 I'm so pleased that you're happy with the booties 👏 Regarding the hat, are you counting your stitches at the end of each round? Is the gauge correct (it should measure a certain diameter after round 4 - see this in the free pattern): maisieandruth.com/crochet-baby-bear-beanie-free-pattern/ 💝

Thank you for your reply so quickly. I did measure and it was 4 inches however I don’t remember counting my stitches religiously 🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️. I am going to try the hat again and this time I will count at the end of each row 😁😁
@ArDeeMee

@@elizabethbranthwaite7067 Hats also look like bowls, you likely did nothing wrong. It gets rounded by the wearer‘s round head, don‘t worry. On the upside, you can convert any hat pattern into a utensilo/yarn bowl/round bag by scaling up the yarn and hook and changing nothing else. 😃
I'm glad you exist and I'm glad you make such beautiful videos. But it's even better if you add a Mongolian subtitle. Good luck in everything😍🥰🔥🇲🇳

I made this hat for my 1-year-old. Take 10hdc for the first round. Round 2 increase. Round 3 increase. Round 4 increase. Now you have 40hdc. Make 6 rounds with 40hdc. Then go for earcuff. Hope this helps
@serayagranger4729

@@aakankshathakrewhat does it mean to increase?
@aakankshathakre
3 ай бұрын
@serayagranger4729 1st round - 10hdc 2nd round - 2hdc * 10times 3rd round - (1hdc, 2hdc) * 10times 4th round - (1hdc, 1hdc, 2hdc) * 10times Now you will have 40hdc Continue for the next 6 rounds with 40hdc, followed by earcuffs.

Hello I have some Bernard baby blanket yarn but it’s super bulky would this be too thick please ? Thank you!
I love this pattern! I’ve already made the matching booties but my hat needs work 😅 The ends that get weaved in keep unraveling and it doesn’t look right. What am i doing wrong 😫
Would this work for a new born? I have yarn that I thought I was gonna use for a blanket for my new daughter but wasn't soft enough
Hi can you use dk yarn too for this hat? X
I just finished it and it is so cute! However, the hat is wayyy too tall. Any recommendations on what I should do? Can I fix it?
Currently making this for my SIL. When I measured mine its 3.5in not 4. I'm using a 6mm hook, and have been counting my stitches at the end of each round. Where did I go wrong?
Would this work with not chunky yarn?
