easy bench that sells

This project is so easy. Anyone can make it. I know you can.
It is made with just 5- 2X4's and 3 tools. That's it. No problem.

    Nice project. Good details. I like how you tell everyone other options to the tools you are using (e.g. circular saw if you don't have a miter saw, etc.) and I like that you give all the dimensions. Thanks for the video.

    I made 2 of these for my Daughter's graduation and sold raffle tickets for $5 all proceeds were given to my daughter, we gave both away and my daughter got a little over $300. The angles I used were 7.5 degrees, same principle though. Have a awesome weekend Buddy...

    Man, this is great, he should have a lot more views. Finally, real DIY projects that I can do. I’m so used to seeing “DIY” woodworking videos where they put the wood through an industrial planer, then the bandsaw, and all done indoors with their $5000 custom dust collection system…

    I love this bench, Mike. Hey, Christmas is not too far away. Every family on your Christmas list could use one of these. I'm thinking that Santa should take his sleigh on down to the lumber yard, pronto. Tuba4's (as Matt would say) just took a big dip in price, right. Thanks for the video.

    If you didn’t use pocket screws, what method would you use? Would the alternative be as strong over the long term as pocket screws? I like the project.

  • @Woodcraft716

    @Woodcraft716

    Great comment John. I was going to mention that if you don't have a pocket hole jig. I would use 2 1/2 inch outdoor deck screws where they will join together. So you would see the screw heads, but that's a nice look ad well. For example. I would screw the bench slats from the top. So you will see the screws. Space the out evenly so it looks uniform. I hope this is making sense. I would also use glue. And for sure it will hold the test of time. Good luck and keep me posted please.
