My most common project on my embroidery machine, and mainly why I bought it, to make embroidery beanies for another side hustle.
Once you understand the basics, you can make them all the time. This is to hopefully help everyone understand what goes into embroidery at a high level, which I did not know until getting more into the hobby.
Skills learned: Pinning, Spraying, machine embroidery.
Machine is a Brother NS-1750D. Embroidery/Sewing Machine

I have a machine like yours but have yet to do any embroidery. Yours is the 1st I seen on the tube. 👍🏻great I would have done the samething to the hat only twice. 😅😊

Thanks so much for this tutorial! I have a question -- you explained the size difference between sewing and embroidery thread.. what are the different use cases for both? Should we always be using embroidery thread (on both top and bottom) when embroidering?

When you embroider you should use embroider thread. You can try with sewing thread but it gets too thick and might cause issues with tension and it will not look right. When sewing you will see the thread on each side, while on embroidery the goal is to only see the top thread. Hopefully this is helpful, let me know if it doesnt so I can hopefully be more clear!
Thank you for such great detail tutorial. I’ve was given mines a last Christmas gift and have been afraid to use. I will now give it a try. I’m now a new subscriber as well… can you show how to change the needles, and when it come to changing the colors of thread. 🤗❣️

I got this particular one from I believe UltraEmb. I have also used Fiverr for some of my digitization. Hopefully this helps!
