WRustyLane: I have two airbrushes--one cheapo Chinese Harbour Freight one and a Badger 155 Anthem. I like my Badger Anthem 155 better than the Chinese knock off. I found that the cheapo HF one can use the trigger and back rocker from my Badger 155 Anthem. So I ordered those two parts for the cheapo since I broke the trigger and bent the back rocker and put them into the cheapo. I modified the trigger a bit but took too much off the bottom of the trigger and found out that I needed to take some metal off the bottom of the inside hole where the needle goes through. Now I've got to get another Badger trigger to go in the cheapo. Trial and error.

However I do have one thing to ask and that is how do you handle the smell of paint that airbrush creates from spraying paints and cleaner? I use it in a small 9x10 room and during the winter like now I dont have my window open to allow ventilation. Is there a good way to vent a inclosed space?

I think I just found out a hack on paint Viscosity. At 6:42 You can actually see how it doesn't bubble and then he adds some more water to it . Gonna try it out

I really liked this video man! Ive only used the airbrush for a short while but this added new ways of basic utilities to my list. However I do have one thing to ask and that is how do you handle the smell of paint that airbrush creates from spraying paints and cleaner? I use it in a small 9x10 room and during the winter like now I dont have my window open to allow ventilation. Is there a good way to vent a inclosed space?

I have a question can you actually tell if the paint is thin enough to be sprayed by the way it percolates in the pot or the amount of Bubbles you're seeing? I think I just found out a hack on paint Viscosity. At 6:42 You can actually see how it doesn't bubble and then he adds some more water to it . Gonna try it out
Thanks for the great video. I have a noob issue, the paint that blows out of my airbrush is very runny and doesn't stick at all to the models. Its more like colored water than paint at this point. I'm using army painter paints with a little bit of water, no thinner, at about 25 psi. Any ideas?
Thanks Kenny! Awesome video by the "expert."

Hello dear artist!!! I have a problem with my iwata eclipse HP-CS 0.35mm, when i press down ONLY for air a small amount of paint comes out!!! The air cap and head assembly are well at their posisition, what can go wrong? My needle is not bend , only thing i can think of is about my nozzle but at a first glance seems to be ok and clean
Thank you for a great video. Checking out thelongwar today. One question, you say the video is in realtime. But how is the paint able to dry inbetween the layers? Ive always wondered in all the tutorials where you guys mix a little lighter paint in the cup and then contiue. If youve done a video please link and Ill watch it:)
Does this work with acrylic apple barrel paint and folk art metallic?
not sure if I would call these airbrush hacks... Most of it is kinda messy and I wouldn't do it that way. But each their own, what works best for them. I like to do it more clean and precise :p
These videos are great. Good content delivered in an attention grabbing manner.
90 degree/L-neckTattoo water bottles are the best ever for airbrushes.

I just started airbrushing and when i try to get fine dots it tends to make a spider web instead of a strait dot .. i tried lower psi. Ive tried using strait paint createx. Tried 1:1 paint and reducer.. same issue .. i tried higher psi and same issue .. idk if its the airbrush paper im using that doesnt allow the paint to adhere well im using borden and riley air brush paper i got a iwata hp-cs eclipse
What paint are you using
Shout out! Great video!
Hi NLP, I've been using the Golden Airbrush thinner + GW paint + water. I can kind of get it working but I'm not sure if the Golden brand is really good for miniatures. Do you have any tips for that brand? Or do I need to use Vallejo?
