On the bottom of the cinnamon rolls you buttered the pan add some brown sugar & cinnamon then lay down the cinnamon rolls. Then do the heavy whipping cream & the butter brown sugar, cinnamon mixture on top. Oooey gooey goodness is waiting. You should try it.

That is a great idea. Thank you, and in addition to your idea we also make a cream cheese frosting you can mix the frosting that comes with the cinnamon rolls into it .... Thank you 😋 your addition makes this recipe even BETTER. I hadn't thought of that.😊

Question: On the sugar cookie recipe, when you put the pie filling on then bake it, does it make the cookies more on the soft side? And if you like more crunchy, should you bake them half way through then add the toppings? I want to try that one. 😊 But really I don’t think I’d refuse any of your desserts. 🤭

Hi Kristen! I recently started watching you and I love your recipes! I absolutely love cinnamon rolls and I'm going to start with this recipe first. In your recipe you poured heavy whipping cream on cinnamon rolls before cooking them. Does that make the cinnamon rolls doughy?

It seems to make the store bought cinnamon rolls have a better texture and gives the illusion of a more yeasty, lighter bread with a softer, more tender dough, if that helps? They have a homemade taste. If you want to add more texture add cinnamon and brown sugar at the beginning when you butter the pan if you really want them extra rich you can also add pecans and then add the rolls, whipping cream, cinnamon mixture, etc.. when they are done cooking you turn them over onto a plate and you'd they're have pecan cinnamon rolls, they are delicious as well. I actually use this mixture making my monkey bread and in my cinnamon rolls.
