Same. I just finished it and seeing the ending made me immediately search this back up. Trying not to get into spoilers but this does feel like a sequel with how the game ends and what is shown here. Regardless this looks great!

I really hope this will help Eastward get more recognition. This is a beautiful game and more people need to know about it. Just the fact that this was shown off in a Nintendo direct of all things gives me hope.

I found out through this dlc that this game exist and now I love it!

This game holds a special place in my heart, I'm glad the developers are giving us more content, Sam and John having a cozy life at a farm? heck yeah!!

This doesn’t even look like a DLC. This looks like a whole second half to the game!!!

It’s being labelled as an alternate universe too. So weird, but I’m into it. I kinda think it’s on brand for Eastward considering they did put an entire extra game in the game.

This game was an absolutely joy when i played through it 2 years ago. the visuals are so standout and vibrant and beautiful, the soundtrack is amazing, the vibes were there. i never expected DLC for it but it's awesome to see it! Looking forward to playing :)

I'm so glad that this game isn't dead! I was worried that the devs of this game weren't gonna do a new game or even a follow up to Eastward, but I'm so thrilled to be wrong about that! Never expected them to make a cozy farm game out of Eastward, but it's a welcome addition to what already is a great game on its own. So excited for this! And to think, I just bought a physical copy of this game just last week for collection only 🤯

Eastward is my favorite game I’ve ever played, ever since it finished I have been wishing so much for a DLC. Now that it’s finally here I might start crying of happiness 😭 seeing all the characters together and happy again makes me the happiest person alive. This trailer has genuinely made my whole month so so so much better.

In the base game, there was a point in the story where I thought for sure there was going to be a chance to start a farm together, those who have played through will know what I'm talking about. This makes me so happy. And please, please, please - MORE EARTH BORN!!!

This is one of my all-time favorite games! I am so excited to revisit these characters and see where things ended up for them, I cant wait to revisit this world the nostalgia was real just hearing the familiar sounds from the game. Literally crying!

I just picked the game up today and started playing it. It is very charming and love the vide of the game. Will def be picking this up.

After finishing it and being kinda saddened by the ending im glad we are getting this

I love that we're getting this. After the dark yet hopeful ending to the game im glad were getting to see these characters again

I played eastward thinking it was some kind of game that was like a spin-off of the Mother/Earthbound series. I was delighted with a quirky game that I wanted to get back to playing immediately after work. It was so gritty, yet at the same time, had such hope in it. Darkness, but so much light.. To have more of this is already great on it's own, and I fully expect something dark lurking behind this charm. If we get more from the Eastward world, be it from the dev's expanding the world, or making a sequel....well, i'm on board.

Alva and Isabel? I'm so happy, but also a little nervous! I will definitely check this out.

Same!! They were some of my favorite characters, so seeing Alva alive made me so happy but really confused

Based off the characters present and how Sam looks, this appears to take place during the events of the game? Looks fun but it's going to be weird going back knowing what happens.

It actually takes place in a whole other parallel universe, which is why Alva is alive and Sam is the same age :)

eastward is my favorite indie game of the last decade, easily. this has be beyond excited seeing as started valley is also one of my all-time faves. this is so cool!

Finally! I adored the artstyle of eastward and hoped there will be farming type with this art. So glad this is happening. The artstyle of eastward and octopath traveler seemed suited for farming style cozy game. 😊😊❤❤ I’m definitely getting this!

I hope that there is still combat and what not but I love that it’s a more peaceful dlc to show the new world they have created

Eastward, but it's a cozy farm game where John and Sam get to live a peaceful new life is a DREAM GAME I never imagined would happen! I'm so happy to know this is in the works!

Yes!!! I saw the dlc on steamdb way back in February, and was wondering if it would ever come out! Stardew Valley and Eastward are two of my all time favorites so this is perfect! Also, with it only having a release window, that might mean we’ll get an Indie World like usually do this October, November, or December.

I'm excited for this one. This game was a lot of fun. I saw it's on Game Pass so I need to play it again on there. I'll be getting this for sure!

Words cannot be used to express my happiness to see that Eastward is getting a spinoff. It looks amazing and the soundtrack is great, I hope this DLC will help explain the ending of eastward better, which would definitely make sense as this looks like an alternative universe, kinda like how we got an alternate version of Sam in the end of Eastward. Just completed this game before the game trial end. What a blast really loved the character and the story. Im glad to see them again. 😭😍 This game is like mix of old zelda game + unique and disturbing world of earthbound. Soundtrack and artstyle also amazing ❤❤❤

Eastward was a strange game. It had gorgeous visuals an interesting world, some characters that needed fleshed out better and a confusing ending. Glad to see more of it though

Darn it! I still haven't beaten the true demon king in Earth Born. Hopefully they fixed the issues of the alternate pixball sprites not remaining in one's inventory when a new game is begun. Or with the Switch release, at least, hopefully the problem of the text boxes running off the screen during some cutscenes has been fixed, too.
