Its channels like this that make the internet. Your contribution to the general publics knowledge is significant good sir!
I live out in rural country and love hearing screech owls outside at night.
Nice work bro!!
Eastern Screech-Owls were the first species I worked with at my local raptor rescue. My first one was named Peanut, and he was a rufous morph Screechy. Thank you for sharing these wonderful little owls! 🦉

That's so awesome! I respect you a lot for working at a raptor rescue and I bet those screech owls really appreciate it too. Thanks for telling your story!
Thank you for this. I have one with me right now. He is beautiful and I am happy to learn more about him. He had ricocheted off of a car I think as I found him on the road. He is doing pretty well and going to a raptur center today THANK YOU. He loved hearing the sound of his own species. he perked up when he heard it.

Great work Mike!
❤❤❤
Very informative. There are reports of a screech owls near my home. I will be looking for them today at dusk. Fingers crossed!
Very informative. Thank you.
When you talked about the owl preying on European starlings, I literally pumped my fist and said "Yes!" But then, you talked about the displacement, and that saddened me. I deal with starlings daily, trying to keep them away from food I intend for native species. Anyway... great video! Your presentation is engaging and professional. And I personally don't mind waiting for quality content. Good work, and be well!

Haha I'm with you there, it's so sad to see the detrimental effects invasive species have. I'm sorry to hear they cause trouble for you and hope they go away! Thank you so much for the kind words it really means a lot. I hope you take care as well :)))

@@J_Birds Alas, European starlings are not going away. But we can hope to find some kind of equilibrium with them in the North American ecosystem, I suppose. I've heard starling populations are actually in steep decline in their native range -- wish I could ship all these mid-Atlantic starlings over there!
Amazing video, thorough and interesting, really enjoyed!

Is there anything we should do to help make them Safe and comfortable? We are Going to place a birdbath on a table nearby so they have fresh water as it’s very hot here in Houston!!
