My mother is from Louisiana my dad from Puerto Rico. I have survived many huge hurricanes. Katrina was an eye opener, but the Irma and Maria double whammy, nothing will top that! Loosing everything and living in sub human conditions for months and months will make you appreciate how we live in a victim hood society. Soon, these storms will be too many and we will have to learn to rely on the SELF ONLY! Sending thoughts and prayers….

It's not going to be " weeks , nor months" this community and all the others will NEVER be the same... Welcome to poverty stricken Kentucky.. the Appalachian mountains... The coal Fields.... Smh.. but we Kentucky eastern Kentucky will take it and do what we can as we always have...
