Eastern European village - How people live in Belarus [Ep. 3] 🇧🇾

ALL BELARUS VIDEOS: bit.ly/3lC94M7
Visiting different villages and interacting with locals in the countryside of Belarus was one of my favorite travel experiences so far. I was staying with a local Belarusian family and got to be introduced to different aspects of the village. Starting from different neighbors, markets, shops, cultural centers, schools, and many more.

ABOUT ME:
In 2013, I started my solo travel journey, leaving Indonesia in 2016 to become a full-time traveler and KZread creator. My background in International Relations has fueled a profound interest in exploring different countries. My content focuses on exploring different cultures through the lens of a solo female traveler, aiming to capture real-life interactions and experiences.
My travels kicked off with a five-month trip across Asia, after which I moved to China in January 2017 to work as an English teacher-my first time living abroad. I left China in 2018 to fully commit to creating videos on KZread, where I share my travels and the cultures I encounter.
Living nomadically since 2016, I settled in England in early 2022 after marrying my British husband, David. Now based in the UK, I continue to travel and share my adventures on KZread.

I am a westerner and I’m blown away by this video with all the negative news about Belarus I watch this video and it just softens my perception of the country first thing I thought was I could imagine my self living there very happily it has all the hallmarks of what we westerners are yearning for in our own society a return to a more social, earthier society there was definitely a sense of kingship and sharing, this video has definitely put this. Country on my to visit map Bless You 🙏 Belarus I am impressed and will definitely visit 👍

There are two museums in the cultural center. It presents the history of our village. Another museum is dedicated to the well-known folklore ensemble "Krupitsky Musyki" outside of Belarus.

PS probably this youtuber is a good person but that was a bad idea to come and in Belarus with a smiling face amid all this violence and political and economic failure..those people from the video are living parallel life which is far from reality. 80% of population in Belarus are urban, we don’t have farmers since we don’t have private ownership for land…everything is state owned..

Minute 9:15 I dont know much about Soviet's history, but it's really nice to know that the Soviet's government did care about the people and provided this art facility. Life was not just about hardwork in the farm, and that the government wanted people to appreciate arts and feel happy.

Well done video, enjoyed seeing up close the lives of a few of the folks of this Eastern European country. The average person in Belarus lives a pretty humble life in homes that one would see in the 1920s --the 1950s in the United States.Lowering a bucket into a Water Well to provide water is probably common in rural Belarus but not in the more developed cities. As I have seen on other videos of Eastern Europe that for the most part people are friendly and helpful.
