Eastern European (Russian) vs Dutch Culture

Ойын-сауық

I have been in The Netherlands for 7 years, and I have heard so many different things about Russia and Russians from riding bears to work to how traditional and demanding Russian women are.
Are these things true or just stereotypes? Some of them are true. At the same time, Russia is more than just pretty girls, vodka and cold climate. And I thought, why not to discuss this in the video.

I thought it was so funny because someone made a video and said that The Netherlands was cold. In my opinion our weather is not really cold as much we had years ago, but maybe some people come from countries with hot weather the whole year haha Directness is handy.

I see your point. It's indeed relative. I would not say that it's cold per se but can rather get gloomy and rainy from November until March or so. 😀

Isn't Vodka translated to Dutch means Watertje and there the line drink as water comes from?

@@theselfishcodependent In Rusland draagt de drank de naam vodka. Vodka betekent in het Russisch dan ook letterlijk: watertje ''водка''.

ha! I got perfect score and ive never even been to Russia! anyway, I have a question for any Russians who might read this: I have noticed the accents vary wildly when Russians speak English, this girl has a more stereotypical accent in her English, but I've spoken to people who sounded more French almost, does that have something to do with Russian dialects itself? Assuming Russian has many dialects.

Most of it I learned online and a small bit by education. I believe that the Russian people, especially de younger Russian are really close. But women are still real women and they are also direct like us. Without government interference we would be a lot closer. Ok cultural there are some differences but we have that too with Belgium or Germany. So I short..... we like you 😘

In Eastern Europe, we are not known for our planning skills. The Dutch, in contrast, are incredible planners. Do you want to improve your planning skills, integrate faster and learn to plan like a Dutch? 😀Check out the planner I created: etsy.me/3A9aJjl

Most Russians life in the European side so they are very close. Nothing wrong with that. And on the Chinese side are mountains and bad terrain for living.
