In episode 20 of Savor Greece, I will take you to another part of this magnificent island of Crete, the Eastern part and part of Lasithi region. A place full of history, tradition and beauty. We will visit the Toplou Monastery, Toplou winery to taste their superb wines, the world famous Palm Forest and Vai Beach, Hionas Beach, we will go to Kato Zakros and stay at the romantic Terra Minoika Hotel, a visit to The Gorge of the Dead and 3 of the Zakros restaurants, Nostos - Anamnesia - Akrogiali.
A swim at Xirokampo and from there to Kapsa Monastery, meet the people of Topiko and visit to Oasis Restaurant.
