Hell is like an argument in a movie? Hell isn't like how the Bible describes it? Please explain what im missing here, because this sounds insane.

Hell is definitely like how the Bible describes it. And James 3 links the fires of hell with the fires of human dysfunction and disconnection. The Bible says God's wrath *is* being revealed and humanity in Christ stands condemned "already." (Romans 1; John 3). There is such a thing as "hell on earth" and these earthly snapshots are meant to wake us up to the eternal reality.

@@SpeakLifeMedia I wish that was made more clear that you were talking about hell on earth. Thanks for the clarification, I thought you were sounding like you were watering down the Bible. More of a lukewarm church, we do not need. ♡

I am talking about hell on earth here - but also the ways hell on earth is connected to *hell*-hell. Like I say in the video, when we think of hell, we should think less of "Dante's Inferno" or a Hollywood horror movie. In light of James 3, the fires of hell have very earthly expressions. We should pay attention to these snapshots of earthly hell because they are preaching to us about eternal realities. Maybe the thumbnail (the video's image) makes the viewer think I'm saying '/this/ is hell (and not the biblical descriptions)', which is definitely not what I mean. (The image and title make a huge difference in how they frame the viewer's experience of the content).

@@SpeakLifeMedia Gosh, no, don't water it down, there's plenty out there for the concrete thinker. This video doesn't seem like religion to me but more like hunker down theology, going into the human condition. Anyway, it gave me a racing pulse. New sub here, avid seeker, though not a believer.

Earth is hell, life on earth is punishment.

Hell never had such pretty sunsets, majestic mountains, amazing liberties to trace footsteps on sandy shores beside an ocean of life. “The mind is its own place and, in itself can make a heaven of hell or a hell of heaven." - John Milton
