This past Easter weekend has seen work away from the layout.
Hornby’s wonderful Apple Green Flying Scotsman 4472 has been re-wired & had a speaker re-location (to the tender).
The previous installation had caused running problems round some of the tighter turns, unfortunately 4472 was too late to take part in #bigfourweek over on Instagram due to the re- wiring.
Non the less some loaded test runs were completed on the mainline with no problems recorded.
Also on show is Bachmann class 20 now fitted with another speaker upgrade, it now has a twin Megabass set up. Seen here hauling some older Hornby MkII’s fitted with interior lighting & flashing tail lamp.
Overall a productive weekend away from the layout.
