Mark was truly fantastic. I always smile when he’s on the screen, mostly because he’s so damn gorgeous and also because he’s such a strong and courageous man with a really kind heart. He sees the good and bad in people and understands what it’s like to struggle. I was born in 2002 so I wasn’t alive to see these classic eras and television shows that aired back in the day, so I love watching these old clips of Eastenders when it was peak television and had that British charm and gritty realism. With real and likeable characters like Mark Fowler that graced the screens.

I liked Mark Fowler tbh he was a decent man but he would fight back. An underrated hard man tbh

I remember EE growing up as a kid & my favourite character was always mark for some reason, I felt he was a good man & an underrated hardman in it

@@H.K.5 Mark had potential as a hard man yes but for some reason the writers made him real weak against Phil, in the Vic when Phil rams Mark into the bar Mark should have at least said somthing back and in the kitchen Mark could have faught back but he seemed to just accept defeat 😕

They made Mark look weak sometimes.. he was obviously capable of handling himself, even landing a punch on prime Phil and grabbing him but then he gets pushed up against the door by Nick so easily and Nick was on crutches.. and a few months before this Mark got knocked to the ground by Nick.. Nick might not have been a complete wimp but he wasn’t that hard either
