Eastar ETR-330 Pocket Trumpet Review!

Музыка

What's up my good friends! I've got a special little treat for you! Here's the Eastar ETR-330 Pocket Trumpet kit! The Eastar company recently asked me to try one of these cute little mini trumpets out. They asked me to share my thoughts. So here’s what I think. It’s portable, playable and super affordable! It has all the characteristics of its full size sibling, the (ETR-380) trumpet. I’ve never played a pocket trumpet in my life so I was very skeptical on the playability of these style horns. I’m very impressed with the overall build and sound quality of this model! It’s basically a full trumpet that has been processed through a Willy Wonka machine and shrunken down hahahaha! It’s got the sound and feel of a full size horn but in a little package! This is an excellent option for learning to play or giggling around with friends! You can keep this in your practice studio, car or work place for quick practice routines! Me personally, I’ve got this in my couch for quick practicing during TV commercials and it’s there when I get quick bursts of inspiration! It’s a super cool conversation piece that will baffle people’s minds when they hear it! Excellent option for kids wanting to learn but can’t carry the weight of a full size trumpet!
The best part is the price and what you get! As of today, these are only 159.99 with free shipping. With this kit you’ll receive the case, cleaning kit, valve oil , polishing cloth, gloves and mouthpiece.
But wait, it gets better! If you click on this link and use the CODE “SAMIR” at checkout you’ll get an additional 10% off!

You're a good man. I like the way you talk, things you say. How about doing one of them 'how to play' things for new beginners that so many guys do? I'm one. Can't get beyond the first octave g-g. Haven't got 'the knack'. All the different vids with all their different ways of trying to get it across to me: they haven't worked. Perhaps with your style of explaining.... ? p.s. I've got one of these. One prob: a sticky no. 1 valve.

Hey bro and welcome to the channel! I’m glad your getting back into playing! I know what it’s like to stop playing too! I stopped for about 7 years then started playing again about 6 years ago! I try to get at least an hour or two per week minimum! I should be playing like an hour or two per day 😂. I’m probably gonna hang into to this one for now but these are a pretty good deal right now! I know companies like these will sell them cheap then raise the prices! I might have another giveaway someday though on some of my horns! Cheers bro!

Are they harder or easier to play than a full size trumpet? Do they require more air? Less air? Are there any clear advantages over a full size trumpet, besides the extreme portability?

  • @SamirSaif

These can be fun to play or practice. Slightly more restrictive with airflow than a standard horn. Definitely more for practice or having fun at ball games.

I got pocket trumpet because i don't have to baby it like i baby my Strad. the only con i have is that i have to extend the 1valves's slide almost to the end because Bb is majorly out of tune otherwise .
