    I just got mine in the mail this past week and can't wait to try them out when we hit the road in a couple of weeks. One thing I hate is all the time I have had to spend scrubbing bugs off the front of the RV.

    I will have to give these a try. We got our business name on the front of our RV and I hate constantly scrubbing bugs off it but can't stand to leave it dirty either. Thanks for sharing......

    So far I haven't had an issue yet. I suspect when I start taking longer trips I may need something like this product. Good info.

    That seems like an awesome product. We have to work hard to get the bugs off the front of our rig, especially the once farther up on the cap!

    Soaking bugs and bird bombs go a long way in cleaning them up. Wait for 15-20 minutes or longer and you can sometimes just spray it off! Thanks Patrick!

    We have been camping for 45 years a great trick to help clean off bugs off the front of the camper and truck is cheap spray pam. the same you use for cooking. Just spray a light coating on the front of the camper and truck and leave it on, the bugs will stick to the spray and can be washed off very easily. PS a rain storm will wash it off so you will have to respray after.

    Looks like a solid product. Can you come and test on mine. Lol I will check this stuff out. Those bugs are crazy hard to get off. Nice product review.

    Wax it real good , you should wax the whole RV and rubber clean and seal on top but the bugs usually come off I heard you could spray Pam on the front and then the bugs come off Pretty easy

    I just tried the bugs off. I haven’t washed my van since February and let me tell you it was dirty and full of bugs. And this product is awesome. Those bugs were really stuck to the front of my van. And it did a perfect job. I recommend this product. But thanks to Patrick and all his testing different products I knew this existed…thank you thank you.

    Just FYI, dryer sheets take bugs off grills and head lights very easily, and I imagine they would work just as well on the RV; they're also very inexpensive.

    Dryer sheets contain 3 different cancer causing chemicals plus you are breathing in the synthetic fragrances, none of which is good for you long term and may aggravate breathing problems.

    I just drape old beach towels soaked in as hot a water as I can stand and go wash somewhere else. Come back in a bit and ez off no matter the method. These pads look like they might be a bit easier but at the expense of "more stuff" to keep track of.

    I’ve seen a Lance trailer front window covered with something on the freeway I couldn’t tell what the owner used to protect it. The new owner of the Lance I sold, the front window shattered during a trip. Are you going to some day cover it?

    I own Awesome Products Corp., the manufacturer of Bugs Off Pads. 3M makes a great ABRASIVE pad; ours are non-abrasive. We manufacture them ourselves here in the USA. I'm also sure 3M would not allow us to use our trademarked Bugs Off Pads name on one of their trademarked products - Scotch Brite. Our pads are safe for all automotive surfaces, including 3M's Diamond Shield, plastics, and even graphics, whether tape or painted on..

    You are still working too hard to get the bugs off. Try jax wax bug zapper that is on Amazon. All you half to do is wet the surface then spray on Bug Zapper and let it sit and 90% of the bugs spray off with a garden hose and the rest will come off with a soft wash brush. No need to scrub with a rag like you were doing.

  • @larryv4249
    @larryv42493 жыл бұрын

    Seemed like a pretty lame test of a scrub pad. Now if you had some sun dried bug guts such as grasshoppers, then your test would be more credible. A good wax job, and wash/wax soap does a better job and provides a nice shiny finish. Not a fan of this product.
