does this mean you can create an infinite number of tallbird nests because you can grow your own tallbird? though the "hatching tallbird" item?

yes,but it's really hard work,because you must focus on hatch the Egg,and then be care that it doesn't die,espesially the smalbird,it will always follow you and can easyly killed by a spider or something,the smaller tallbird is a bit stronger i guess and i didn't know his behavior exactly,you can use it in fights a bit,but you must be careful with that,but you are only done if the tallbird is fully grown,but then it will behave like a normal tallbird and attacks you

Any ideas to use this as an auto farm? Maybe for silk or McTusk?

They don't eat monster meat, so it'd be perfect for an automatic spider nest. The only issue is that if you have too many tall birds, it'll be difficult to clean up the remaining tallbirds before you can loot. But that can easily be fixed with a fire farm.

I don't quite know. It's possible but I've never seen multiple tallbirds coexisting from the same nest. One will inevitably kill the other.

Haven’t seen it done but I can’t think of a reason why not, it’s just going to be tough keeping a baby bird alive long enough with all the earthquakes.

Im constantly known for killing any large beast living peacefully that makes eggs (amongst my friends) and these have always been a major target for me

Yeah they added tallbird eggs as drops from Klaus. Just hatch the egg in Spring and when the bird grows up it should make its own nest.

I’m absolutely petrified of The Constant. It seems like such a cool place to explore, but I’ve died so easily that I’m just completely put off from Don’t Starve as a whole.

Can this be use to guard sinkhole? Rather then bunny man, it like 99% cheeper. Just need 3% of torch, gras wall and 1 gate.

I don't know if the hitbox of the nest makes the area invalid for other nests. For multiple nests I'd recommend separate pens for each. It also makes killing them one at a time much easier.

They do, unfortunately. You can make a larger pen if you want more.

@@JazzysGames no, I'm asking if you can trap a live rabbit nearby so that the tallbird agros on the rabbit and the tallbird doesn't fight back when the player attacks it. (It may be easier if you have more tallbirds or if you are on console.)

I'd say so, yeah. The new tallbird recipe gives 150 hunger and 60 health. Not to mention the meaty stew you can make from the tallbird meat. Not sure they would completely replace pigs for me but I'd definitely set up a few for farming.

do you mean singleplayer as in the original Don't Starve? That game hasn't seen an update in almost two years. I'd highly recommend switching, even if you play solo
