that is cool as hell I stopped using my ps4 controller on my PC because it was a pain to bust out a micro USB cord and not biggest Bluetooth fan but never really liked my xbox one or ps5 controller as much as it for a lot of games.

thanks this is exactly what i was looking for. i hated having to buy good micro USB cables just for one device. easy install too. just be careful with the ribbon cable. i had 2 different models JDS 30 and 5x and mixed up the ribbon direction and easily stripped one.

How do I know witch Version my Ps4 Controller is?

This is great because the original connector absolutely doesn't work properly. I mean it works, but it feels so flimsy, as if will simply break by looking at it the wrong way :D

Man... I bought one of these and they do not work. The damn ribbon cable doesnt even fit into the port on it and the port itself break easily.

Can you take the internals of a PS5 controller and put them into a PS4 controller shell? Im not the hugest fan of the PS5 controller but i loved the PS4 controller? Ik i can use the PS4 controller on my PS5, but ONLY FOR PS4 GAMES. I want the full benefit of a DualSense in the form factor of a DualShock 4 Could you also turn a 360 controller into a PS5 controller that is fully functional?

The internals probably dont have the same form factor between models so i doubt it would fit, and if it did the internals wouldnt fit nicely, however, if youre crafty enough im sure someone could made it work; just be very weary since you can damage the internals if you dont know what youre doing

@@sako2874 yeah for some reason my aim on apex is smoother with the ps5 controller but my sense is slower despite being the same sense just ps4 allowed me to do movement so I’ve just continued using my ps4 with the back button attachment

Another reliability issue you should wage war against is also related to the ports on controllers. The ports are FAR too exposed and lack support. Every time you put down the controller on a surface, unless you put it down on the edge with the cable facing over the edge the area of the cable right before the connector ends up getting torqued. over time this stress causes damage to the wire breaking the cable. Also it is VERY easy to accidentally damage the port, if you accidentally knock the controller at the connection. there is a pretty easy solution to this issue I first saw on the Scuf Impact. A recessed area for the port with collar section extending out slightly surrounding the connector. This would help reduce stress on the cable AND the USB port, and even if the cable does break the reduction of stress transfer to the USB port means you only replace a cheap cable instead of a band aid repair or buying a new controller.

Argh!!! Hack the case hole 🕳️ up for USB-C on PS5 🤔🧐. Magnetic charge port cable adapter might be better 🤷🏼‍♂️🤦🏼‍♂️, interesting non the less 👍🏻.
