I'm trying to make a painting for my friend who loves Rick & Morty. This was super helpful! Luckily I took a photoshop class this semester and we used illustrator but I'm doing this on canvas but still gonna use these tricks! I wouldn't have made the glasses so low and I would've adjusted the left pupil a little bit.

Hey I really like your avatar and you should really do more avatars in the future. I have a question, I was doing the same Rick and Morty avatar and when I did the eyedropper tool it works, but the colored have cover the entire face of my avatar and I can’t see the out line of the facial features of my avatar. How can I fixed that? Oh and I am using adobe illustrator At 3:16

Bro that’s no how you color vectors in Ai. You would save HOURS if you only merge your stroke and the add a color layer under it, then merge everything againa and the isolate the group, or just use the shortcut “A” to select individual objects and then paint them

Hi, I always expand the path before I start coloring so it wont connect to pen or pencil tool that i use for coloring
