Thanks so much for considering the magnet rust issue. It’s one of my main concerns when introducing these to the tank.

That was my problem with the suction cup version, I had to superglue two little fishes magnets to the butterfly feeder

i think it should get some rubber padding on the mags. that could scratch up the grass

It would scratch acrylic, but not glass

you might get them to work for slow feeders,like sea horses. Doc BC

Need some advice on setup .....what would be the downfall of setting up a few frag tanks on a carpeted floor and do you think it's worth it

I ran my 125 on a carpet floor. A couple issues.. any spills go directly into the carpet and you should invest in a real carpet cleaner. Flooding bad, leaks all bad for the same reason. The weight will destroy the carpet over time.

@@FishOfHex understood...wouldn't think it would be much of an issue as I am looking at 3 to 4 50gal loboy tanks on separate tanks stands....just curious to see what the downfall would after setting up and leveling each tank....thinking of placing some type of moisture absorbing material underneath/ around each setup

Does it float if you release it?
