Same here, Emily. I started in November, and making them is a little bit addictive. LOL. I’ve been using epoxy, but I have a crystalac tumbler kit on the way. BTW, you definitely came to the best and funniest channel to learn from. Taylor is my favorite!

I have done that tumbler like 10 times now, the stencil really helps streamline it - the first 3 times were all freehanded

I’d like to pick up airbrushing - but it intimidates me!! But watching you, you make it not so scary!

Have you ever heard of crystalac ? It’s an epoxy free method of sealing tumblers & glass and it’s not harmful like epoxy is . I would love to hear your thoughts about it :)

Mine never smells bad to me, i have a ceramic heater and I use 2 of the Halogen worklights - put off pretty good heat.

I want to make a plaid tumbler, but I want to use colors apple green and pink. So which one would be my first color?

you may want to start with a pink base. the darkest color would be first of the squares, I would have to see a pick of what you are trying to do to better instruct on execution - that one is doable but would be tricky, you may want to mask up the first color if you don't think you have the control but it can be done

Can you use mod podge instead of tack it? Why did you use etching primer

Probably. The etching primer is because it chemically etches into the bare metal in addition to mechanical sanded for adhesion and durability

After you put the clear matte on it did you put the decal on it then Epoxy?

Had an allergic reaction to epoxy! Have you tried the crystal lac non epoxy product?
