Easiest Honda Civic Brake Job I've Done! | Rotor & Pad Install

In today's video, the Honda Civic Project get's a new set of Pads and Rotors! A bit of a back-to-basics video with more general maintenance on my 1999 Honda Civic. This is my first time utilizing my new Quickjack 5000TLX and it's by far my fastest brake job yet! So come hangout and change some brakes with me. Enjoy!
Out of all the Civic videos, I had yet to make one with how to install front pads and rotors on a 96-00 Civic. So I ordered some basic rotors and pads from carparts.com along with some rear rotors and pads for when I get around to the rear disc conversion. I should mention that I serviced the rear drums last year, so they're ok for now! The Civic projects have been on n hold while I get the RSX Type S to a good spot. Winter also doesn't help with productivity. Needless to say, I'm looking forward to more progress on the Honda's this year and the Quickjacks are sure to help!
Hope you guys enjoy the video, pretty simple but something that often get's overlooked for content. So maybe there's a few brake job tips and tricks in here to help out! As always, thanks for watching and i'll try to include some links to the goods down below.

I wish I knew more about working on cars. I only know very little maintenance. It'd be nice by my old EM1 just sits in the garage and hasn't been driven in 2 years. Its got 60k now and only seen maybe 2k miles in 10 years. Maybe its time I let it go to someone who knows how to take care of it.

Hey Anthony, I think it would be a cool idea for a video, if you showed us how to do the TL-S Brembo brake kit swap onto the RSX/ Civic.

Love what you have done to the car! I have the same car. You gave me some ideas on what to do to mine. I just put a header and exhaust on it. Much more to go

Hey brother how many miles is that d series at currently? Looking to do the same thing with a civic as you and make the most out of the original engine before a engine swap?

Hey Anthony, I got a question. So I have a 98 hx, and everyone does 15x8 wheels or 15x7, but I did some measuring and theres NO way those would fit correctly. I just wanted to know if 2000 fenders are wider than 98 ones?

I hope the quick jacks allows you to make more basic maintenance videos like this. Love to see these quick jobs and just hanging out in the garage like you said!

Very cool setup Anthony ! Glad Dane was able to swing by. Those lifts are the real deal and I can see how they can make doing any job much easier.

Always fun to watch videos from places that don't see as much snow and salt, I could change my brakes two times a year and they would never be this easy to work on. I replaced and painted my calipers and brackets last summer and almost need to do it again lol.
