or you can get 2 villagers and breed them with at least 12 bread per villager until you get 20 villagers

i just finished building this farm and it works amazingly! thank you so much for this vid it helps ALOT since i’m always running out of iron in my world 😅btw, tip for anyone else tryna build the farm, put two villagers in the little capsule in the middle, and breed them with bread untill you have 20 of them. kill the green coat villagers and keep the others.

For people having issues, which as far as I'm aware only occurs on Realms, your villagers must be able to reach their work stations and be placed directly on the beds, I used a design from RasberryGum, combined with this one. I Assured all villages were linked to a bed in their room and a work station in their room and it now works. If you have already built this farm you can easily adapt it as I did by placing one room on either side of the farm (4 in total) containing 5 villagers each.

I Believe they must of added a hidden change in the recent update requiring villages have to sleep, or it may be a bug, hope the info helps.

@@ZaidenVoidOfficial I am sorry, I don’t have a solution for you :/ I just followed the tutorial, and it worked perfectly. For Java ik that the villagers need to be scared of a mob. Maybe, and just maybe they don’t get scared by anything? I build mine in standard biome.

This farm worked great I build it in my realm and had my doubts but I AFKed for a bit and it was cats for a little while and not to long after I heard them spawn it works really good and I appreciate the build it works amazing I followed the video step by step and I’m building on 200 blocks up in the sky

Easy way to get villagers to the farm: put your difficulty on hard and look for zombies villagers that spawned close to the farm, then trap them in a hole and cure them, transport the cured villagers to the villager chamber then breed them until you have 20.

As a pe player this works 100%

much better than the other 5x5 ones underground as my golems would spawn outside of where they were supposed to

This farm does work as of 08/07/23 Few points to note if it’s not working • make sure all villagers are adults • make sure you are 150 blocks away from any other villagers • make sure no workstations are lying around within 150 blocks other than in the farm. Same goes for any beds. • if iron golems are wondering around outside of the farm kill them and make sure there is no beds anywhere. • allow a bit of time before accepting it doesn’t work maybe 15 mins. • the farm will only spawn golems when the chunk with the farm on is loaded. If it still doesn’t work look into the mechanics of how golems spawn and 1 reason should spring up to why they arnt spawning. Hope this helps some people out.

I just built this on bedrock edition and it was only spawning cats. I moved the glass blocks off the workstations and golems started spawning.

It works just give it like 5 minutes and it’ll start working Edit: built in survival would recommend making an afk platform above it somewhere made me a good amount of iron in 20 minutes would recommend

Trying it now, nothing as of yet and I’ve been waiting a good little bit and nothing as of yet. I’m on Xbox series S bedrock edition. Edit** I think I was to close to a village or something. I moved it to the middle of a large open body of water and it worked perfectly right away. Do I need to be near the farm for it to work or can I head back to base which is at least 10-15 chunks away, I’m in bedrock 1.20.1 btw

@@msbobroach You will need to be near the farm for it to work. Iron Golems wont spawn unless your near the chunks your farm is made in, also the higher your simulation distance is, the farther you'll be able to go from it.

This farm works really well but if you want you could make it better. Give it like a 10 block fall so it gets away from villagers. Tame 10 cats so cats dont spawn and i added a zombie above the villagers for faster spawns. Just in case i built it up high so nothing weird happens

@@lonelyeaterz For me I built about 160 blocks up made a 10x10 platform and then I just followed the steps on it I placed like 2 zombies 2 blocks above the vilagers and I didint place 10 cats because I wanted the string but i mean it gets good rates and just place like 10 blocks above the chest. My bad if you dont understand

If you want to make this faster put 10 cats on the leafs, it helped me a lot

works great within a few minutes I was able to get 40 iron and with some changes I got the cats giving me string

I play on pe. This farm does indeed work well. Easy iron.

Does this only work on servers or something because its not working for me on survival

On thing I hate about tutorials is people who give inv list and start using stuff not on list or tell you that you need one bucket of water and you start building way high up only to find out you need infinity pool and multiple buckets but farm does work well

I just made this, it worked when I was transporting the villagers in with minecarts over the top of the hole I think like 4 or 5 golems but I've had nothing since been stood for like an hour and all it makes is cats

Lol this is the only farm that worked for me, have exactly 20 villagers, only 20 workstations, tame 5 cats, dont build this near caves or ravines, I built this high up, stay near the chest, once you build it wait like 10-20 minutes then I found out the spawn rates were some what quicker, I built this near my village but high up and destroyed all beds, bells, workstations and doors so it still worked

the farm is pretty slow if you want a lot of iron quickly. so i like to build a fishing farm next to it. so i can get loot from the fish farm while getting iron.

After a while using this. Farm it will stop working. I build it on a ocean with 5cats. 20viliggers all conected to fletching table and i waited 1hour zero golems

Bedrock has no fear mechanic, so a zombie wouldn't affect it.

Can you put a trident killer with looting III at the bottom instead of lava so you get more drops?

Minimum 150 Blocks away of your trading hall and than it should work

It will only work when the chunk is loaded mate, so yes only spawns when you are nearby.

Get ten tamed cats to max out the cats cap spawn cover up caves with slabs or leaves and make it 100 blocks in the air so they only spawn in there

Fun fact this farm is a 3 in 1 1: you can get iron duh 2: you can get bone meal from the flowers they drop by putting it in a composter 3: you can get wool from the string that the cats drop because it still spawns cats
