I love this perspective, it integrates so many of the ideas and techniques I use in my home and family life, but didn't have a "name" for...or a way to find others who might live and learn from the same perspective. Recently I was reading a popular unschooling website that touted allowing children to spend hours watching TV, playing video games, etc. . I hated the egocentric feel of this and thought immediately I want my family life to be "earth" centered, not self/consumereist-centered.
