I have known Paul since Oakland in the 70s... just how Paul...is never heard of Paul being with a gay lover ever...and especially in SF Bay Area somebody knows something...and likely LA too!

I love Paul Mooney's comedy as a whole. His delivery, his demeanor, and of course his jokes. He's one of the best in my opinion. But I've always believed he was gay and I always will. The only person who can change my mind is Jesus. And before anyone mentions the fact that he has children and was married to a woman..... So were/are a lot of undercover gay men. So🤷🏽‍♀️

@@aalm9179 it does matter when it comes to economics. People been fired for being gay in the real world. In Hollywood if you're a gay actor they send you to "swag classes" $200 a lesson. Basically a gay guy who passes teaches you how to be straight acting. As acting students we were told to scrub social media at film school and it was hinted not to talk about sexual orientation.

I honestly never thought he was gay. I've seen guys who had their mothers mannerisms simpky because they were raised mostly by women. I'm lucky, raised by mostly women but I never caught their mannerisms. But I've seen a lot of other guys who did. One of many guys who didn't have father around. I noticed he act like my great grandmother...but my uncle who was a fucking child maker with many women and known womanizer, when he talked shit, he snapped into that mode also. Every time I saw Paul Mooney, he was on stage or in some manner of talking shit...that's the ONLY time I saw him. So to me, he was snapping into that mode, like my uncle. Manly any other time, but snap into that sht talking mode, he looked like great grandma

Even in the Richard Pryor roast. Richard calls him "miss thing." And Paul laughed it up. But Paul tends to get serious at weird times and say that certain things aren't funny. Sometimes it feels like wherever he is he just needs to hold court. When people get that mad over a joke, usually means something's going on
