Very lovely jars with lids! Lots of times and efforts put into making them. Unfortunately, I can just admire them...But also thank you for show cases both your beautiful potteries. :-)

Gosh these are all so beautiful and so very creative! The amount of time involved making these is huge and you two make it look easy. You are both so amazing and its good to see you both in this video. Added: I just watched your black background painted stems and flowers and now I get to see these white background ones. They are different and both so pretty.

I love your work ..I am a beginner potter and I hand build every thing as I don’t have a wheel I love working with clay and the hand building is very challenging -for me. I doubt that I could master the wheel as I have had Parkinson’s disease for 23 years .I have always been crafty andI I think I have indulged in every craft known to man..The last 20 years or so ,bc ,or before clay, I was a weaver but once introduced to clay I have never looked back. Now II am a potter and Kiln it. Haha( just kidding).I really just wanted to say that I am so excited to have found your website and all your inspiring videos. My goodness, what is a woman to do I ask! The folk art paintings and carvings are so brilliant.. I paint on my pieces and they are sweet but I don’t have the artistic talent that you both exhibit.Your inventory is amazing. If I Was healthy I would come and visit your studio ..I live in British Columbia in the central Okanagan… Alas, I am going down that slippery slope of a degenerative disease, one that I-managed to rise above for so many years but is just recently raising its ugly persistent head and reminding me daily that I must face reality and accept 🎉what is before me. Hell, I am not finished yet. I have friends that own a dairy farm and connected to the robotic farm they have built a country store front and restaurant..I put pieces of my ragged, flawed but somehow charming, attempts at creating ceramics in the store to sell Get this -They all sell !!! All my pieces sell. ,Go figure.. Iam told that they love the flawed handmade look. How fortunate for me.. I used 😢to include some info .about myself with my pottery and I suggested that the flaws are a result of Parkinson’s and therefore are complimentary Do you have a video on making your frames ?. Oh to hell with the questions I just want to make everything. Where do you get your lamp shades from. I have a half a dozen potterylamp bases that I-made, that I want to put in the store but I have not found where to get lamp shades at a reasonable cost.A very successful potter on line sells her pottery lamps without the shade. That makes sense but it does not look nice , at least I don’t care for that look Your pottery studio is lovely with exceptional pottery pieces, your flower garden is gorgeous and the whole setting is charming beyond words. Thanks to your hard work in making it look the way it does Now I must concentrate on what I am making. I must focus You are a very good instructor. Marcia Duthie (I can’t believe this , I can hardly even say it but I will be 70 years old next year. Holy Moses.) I am sorry. I didn’t mean to tell you my life story) 😂 . th

Hello Marcia, thank you for the wonderful email. I am sorry to hear about the health issue, life is so precious and we should all be so grateful for what we make of it and you seem to be overflowing with life. Our friend in Virginia also has health issues and she has made a life in pottery, her name is Deborah Rogers, she is on Facebook. She makes whimsical animal sculptures in clay and says cracks and dents are part of the aesthetic. My lamp shades are from Walmart and getting harder to find. The harp size I use is 8 inches. The frame video is kzread.info/dash/bejne/e4hkxrOresTbYrw.html Thanks again and congratulations on the selling.

Such beautiful work from you both. I really love Jackie's stenciled/hand painted pieces, they are so funny and charming. Vaughan your new bright florals are really stunning, look terrific in your gallery displays. Thanks as always for the inspiration. So nice to see your garden looking so lovely, like the rain didn't have any ill effects.

Great to see you both on the videos and all of the great artwork you produce. I will now go back and watch the first part of this set. Jackie, Karen and I are so happy being able to hear the Loons on Lake Winnipesaukee in NH and when I look at your paintings I can hear their call. You and Vaughan's artwork has such a warm feel to it. Both of you take care and enjoy the respite from the rains. Cheers...Freddie

?? what is the advantage of white slip over red clay ? why not just use white clay? I really seem to learn a lot watching your process .
