again, another one with no sense of History. Eartha Kitt was a major player in the Civil Rights Movement of the 1950's to the point that it got her blackballed in America and she had to go to Europe to keep her career going, it wasn't until the 1980's that she returned to the World Stage from Europe and America suddenly rediscovered their darling sweet heart, Miss Eartha Kitt. she's not Under Appreciated, perhaps by the current herd of anthropoid hominids, but 'In The Day' she was a very well known and appreciated performer, humanitarian.

So underappreciated. No one was ready for her ironic humor and unabashed female sexuality. Even "feminists" don't really like it cuz she's too "straight" lol. She was also "cancelled" by LBJ and the FBI for speaking out against the Vietnam War just when her star was rising.

Me and my dad would dress in denim and sunglasses and listen to this in a red 80's convertible and my god...I felt godlike.

I got to see a recording of a performance of I Wanna Be Evil from a couple of years before she died and she was just fantastic. It seemed like if she hadn't been able to do a really great job then she wouldn't have done it at all.

When did she pass away, I met Adam West and Yvonne Craig in person at a convention in NJ, less then 15 months before Yvonne (Batgirl) Craig passed away.

I have no idea how i found this, but this was insanely catchy and now i love it. I love Eartha Kitt so no idea why i've never heard/seen this before.
