I miss Maurice White. He had a voice that was so rich and smooth. Boy, do i miss Maurice as the voice of EW&F. But, Philip Bailey took the helm and is keeping the music alive! Thank you for keeping the music rich and beautiful. Rest in Peace, Maurice White. I have been a loyal fan for years. 🎤🎶🎸🎹🎺💗

Also good to see and hear the late Robert Brookins (October 7, 1962 - April 15, 2009).

It is one of the best genre where places are as different in hollowed perspectives, where light is everyday, and so as the manifold of blessings.

I felt in love with this man the minute I read his story how he became the person and greatest singer ❤️🎶🎵 I can't stop hearing his songs and yes I give a lot of credit and respect to all the people in his band just like the back up singers may he rest in peace 🙏🙏❤️🎶🎵🎼😊

In 1994 we had them here in Chicago. Teena Marie was also here. The best Concert I ever attended. Calm, beautiful music. 🎶 my little personal Woodstock 😆

FYI... This group has not and will not go away!!! Phillip Bailey took over the vocals and is a foundational member who has two distinct singing styles and covers for "Maurice" quite well!!!

I am talking as a member of Gen z, we are unlucky because we were not adult or teenagers while this good times still alive. We catch up the ending of the world.

EWF - real music!

Its June 28,2023. EWF is in concert near me in Cincinnati Ohio tonight. Wish I could be there. Unfortunately im 14 yrs in a wheelchair. 70 yrs old. Am able to go but RIVERBEND VENUE HAS VERY FEW ADA SEATS. PEOPLE WHO WANT DESPERATELY TO SEE THE BANDS IN THIS TIME PERIOD ARE AGING AND NOBODYS CARES!! That is very sad. There are people who r younger who love these band but those of us who listened to them as young people need wheelchairing space. The 3 remaining members of EWF are 72 yrs old!!! So look at it from my point of view. The fans of the 1970's are not young anymore. PLEASE AMERICA DONT KEEP LIMITING US FROM GOING OUT and having a good time even in a chair. When venues book these 70's bands PLEASE arrange seating with room for those of us in chairs❤❤❤❤

I'm sry I got off track. So pls accept my apology. I agree with all of u who love EWF. I have lived them since I first heard them in the 70'S. I had the gift of seeing them and The Isley Brothers in Indianapolis when I was 23. What a show! Everyone was having a great time dancing singing having so much fun. I couldnt count all the instruments actually being played. Unlike today with all on one instrument. Best music ever!

Earth Wind and Fire will always remain the best band in my life and what the fuck im white not that it matters

The only band in this whole wide world that can make me forget about the Stones for a while. When it comes to making you feel really cool, when you're high just on being alive and watching or just listening to these guys; when it comes to their superb musicianship out of this world no one comes close to EWF. I'm a grizzly bear when it comes to dancing, but EWF's magic just won't let me stand still😂. First saw them in 1975 and that first fascination never let me. ❤❤❤❤❤❤

He had Parkinson's disease diagnosed in the mid 80s and due this condition stopped touring in 1994. He just couldnt sing as before anymore. However it was just so good to see him on stage

Parkinsons is a debilitating disease. I'm just so happy he could make an appearance. I could tell he was not feeling well and I was so happy to c him. RIP God Bless You❤

Yes, that was ESPN anchor & Notre Dame graduate Hannah Storm. In the early/mid 2000s she co-hosted the CBS morning show "The Early Show".
