I mean idk Prowler was ready to end Miles before he realized who Miles was. I see 1610 Prowler as a dude who was a bad guy, and only when faced with the person he loved the most did he realize how much bad he’s done. In that moment where he’s holding Miles on the roof, thats the first moment we actually see him hesitate in his evil actions. The way I see it before this moment he never thought his 2 lives, one as the villainous Prowler and one as the beloved Uncle Aaron, would cross. And I have no doubt that either if Miles never revealed himself or if it wasn’t Miles under the mask, Prowler wouldn’t have hesitated to kill him. Thats just how I see it though. I’d say though in the moment he let Miles live, he truly realized how terribly he messed up and if he had lived I think he would have turned himself in.

Honestly, Spider-Miles broke into 42's home, and was talking to both 42's mom and uncle - the two people he cares most about. It's no wonder that 42 had such an antagonistic response to Spider-Miles showing up out of the blue. Gotta wonder if ultimately in the end Spider-Miles has to stay in universe-42 to be the Spiderman that universe needs.

It goes back to what miles said in the parent teacher conference when the teacher said “you can’t have your cake and eat it too” (foreshadowing the idea that miles wants to save his dad and also keep his universe alive, since Miguel and the other spiders think it’s a canon event that has to happen or the universe will be destroyed). Miles said “you can if you bake 2 cakes” which could allude to the fact that there are two very capable miles morales’ that could solve the problem. if prowler miles was a good guy, prowler miles and Spider-Man miles could work together and save spider dad without destroying the universe.

I'm inclined to agree. Prowler Miles is a vigilante who has been seriously jaded by the crime and evil in his world, which has already cost him something very dear. But he's not on the side of evil. He probably doesn't consider himself a hero, either. He's just trying to mitigate damage as much as he can, especially where his mom is concerned. Hopefully he and our Miles can form a truce or bargain of some kind.

I hardly think that Prowler Miles will let another version of his dad died, considering he already lost his.

My theory is that Prowler Miles is gonna have a redemption arc, because the main theme of the trilogy has and will always be anyone can be spiderman. So I think our Miles will slowly teach 42 Miles that he can be spiderman, and that will somehow give him an up in the fight against the spot. My thoughts are that our Miles will escape at the start of the next movie, while the prowlers hunt him down in hopes to get to the still living Jeff Davis, and Our Miles will introduce this dystopian world to spiderman.

If Miles across the multiverse was all good, then they would just be even more evidence that there needs to be consistency in the multiverse. Which would mean miguel is probably on the right track in his theory. We've barely seen this Miles in action, we can't really assume anything of him unless we're going with what I mentioned previously.

It makes sense because the first prowler, Hobbie Brown was a good guy. I can see something similar to Miles cannon event with uncle Aaron. Perhaps like Earth 1610 Miles, Earth 42 Miles saw something he shouldn’t have, but no spider powers. Meaning when Earth 42 tried to run he didn’t get far and when Aaron catches him and sees it is Miles he lets him go like he did in the movie. I’m willing to bet when Earth 42 Miles lost his dad, he vowed revenge and told his uncle Aaron you can either help me or get out of my way. Feeling guilty about losing his brother and not wanting to lose Miles as well, he trains Miles to become the Prowler.

Kemp Powers himself said he's not an "evil" miles. He's still Miles but had to grow up in a really problematic environment bc of the circumstances. That kinda speaks a lot abt his character.

In that universe we see a mural for Miles dad and it had to be made by Miles and Aaron so if they still cared about him they atleast have some sort of heart and compassion

I believe the key hint of this being true is that Miles 42's shoes are untied.

the reason e42 miles treated e1610 miles like a prisoner is bc that's how miles reacts when a doppelganger turns up, no matter the universe. remember what e1610 miles did when peter b parked showed up. he did the same thing e42 miles did.

It could be that Miles-42 is broken, and he has no one else to look up to except for uncle aaron. If anything he's just hardened, and broken from losing his father, and 1610 miles will bring him back to see the better in things. As for uncle Aaron, that's gonna be difficult to speculate.

It makes sense for a few reasons, but one of the main ones is that most of the clunks in the Great Web work themselves out. Since Earth-42 was meant to have a hero, it's gonna get one, regardless if it's a "spiderman" or not.

Hobie Brown is a brilliant inventor whom started out as a criminal known as the Prowler, but soon turned to a more heroic path and became a trusted ally of Spider-Man. He later gave up the Prowler identity and became the Hornet.

I think Prowler and Spider Miles team up to take down the cartel. It’s also interesting that 42 Miles is not surprised about a multiverse version

Yeah, considering that brief illustration of 42 Miles studying at his universe's Alchemax (when Spot was monologuing to 1610 Miles), he's probably already well aware of multiple realities/universes.

It would definitely be fun to see this theory come to life on the big screen. Imagine the next movie opens up with a 2 v 1 fight of spider Miles against prowler Miles and his uncle. Only for prowler to let spider go saying it was a test and that he believes his counterpart has the strength necessary to save his father back home.

I've actually thought about this as a possiblity. I feel like the death of his father broke him a bit. Though I feel like this miles would still be a little pissed of our miles's existence.

Maybe that's why his universe hasn't broken apart. His father's loss mixed with his heroe instincts made it enough for the universe to consider him a fitting replacement for Spider-Man that can still experience the same canon, with little changes.

That makes complete sense. Remember in Into The Spiderverse when Uncle Aaron protected his family instead of killing Mikes, he could've just followed King Pin's orders, bit instead risked his own life for the ones he loved. That showed a light within the Prowler persona which might show up in Beyond the Spiderverse.

Different personalities, they both grew up in different worlds, 42 is filled with crime and has a very dark atmosphere around them, and the city is on fire. They aren't good guys. Yet anyway.

Biggest clue to me was the color scheme, inside was Red and blue compared to the Purple and Green outside of earth 42. Red and blue symbolizes good and green and purple evil

Meanwhile, I think Miles-1610 was supposed to become an Evil Prowler - his color scheme was violet and green before turning to blue and red when meeting Blonde Spider-Man-1610 (the one Kingpin murdered). If so, I think it's for good Miles-1610, our Miles, got thr spider bite. His life was changed - now both him and Prowler Miles are good guys, rather than Earth-42 being a good Spider-Man and Miles-1610 an evil Prowler.

I can see that considering his response to miles has been our miless reaction to peter b including tying him up to a punching bag. Although earth 42 miles may have become warped after his dad died tragically and became a villain.

It would make sense with how Aaron reacted to Miles saying “You can still be a good guy,” to which Aaron says “a good guy?” in a confused tone. And Aaron of course never had bad intentions, at least back on the og Earth he wasn’t happy with what he had to do.

It’d make sense, i think miles’ dad probably got killed trying to stop a villain Spider-Man was supposed to defeat and the prowler was involved somehow, the guilt of having something to do with his brothers death most likely made Aaron want to give up the mantle of the prowler, but Miles, wanting vengeance became the prowler himself, but not to be a criminal but to at least try to make a difference and fight back against the villains that are running wild in earth 42 due to a lack of a Spider-Man to keep them in check

This is my theory too with the Earth-42 Miles. It would make sense that this Miles would become an Anti-Hero and probably killed the people that killed his father. Since we know that Uncle Aaron is not shy in killing, it would make sense that when Uncle Aaron trained Miles, he trained Miles to fight with the intent to kill.

It would be interesting to see them fighting alongside eachother, but very clear different fighting styles with The Prowler with a more “strike to kill” fighting style than miles’ which is more of a “capture them” style

Yes because as we all know good guys and their uncles always tie up and intimidate people in dark rooms.

I don’t think that the 42 spider was meant to bite 42-Miles, it was still meant to bite 42-Peter Parker, but since he was never bitten and the city descended into chaos run by the sinister 6 cartel, 42-Miles’ dad was killed and he went down a dark path, mentored by his Uncle who had already developed the Prowler mantle. In the MCU storyline, Peter actually runs into Donald Glover who plays Miles’ uncle, then we see him as the prowler in Nueva York in Across the Spiderverse, so Miles exists in many universes but 1610 is the only one where he is bitten by a spider.

I'd be curious to know what 42 Peter Parker would be like without his powers, assuming he even exists there. If he is alive/exists there, then he would probably be keeping his head down in such a crime-infested New York. Maybe he still uses his intelligence to be a hero on a smaller, less significant way like how he did in another universe when a girl named Cindy Moon was bit by a radioactive spider instead of him.

Its already been leaked that miles(prowler) was gonna help miles(spiderman) only due to the fact that he still has his dad, and he's not there to fight them.

Yeah I completely agree. The universe was going to choose him to be Spider-Man, so he must not be completely gone. Besides, I think that, with what we’ve seen with Kingpin, and how the audience could empathize with him and his family, prowler Miles is basically just a kid at heart who got hurt in a cruel world where he lost his father, most likely at the hands of some type of organization that he is working to bring down. Let’s not forget that when Miles entered the wrong house, his mother talked to him, who she thought was her Miles, and she seemed to get along with him pretty well, and talked to him as if they didn’t have some sort of disharmony in the relationship. The same thing with Uncle Aaron and Mile’s mom.

If they do decide to go the villainous direction I wonder if they'll have Miles 42 get found by the spider gang in a trick to replace SpiderMiles. So he can have the life he was supposed have. I feel like it's unlikely just cause it's a little cliche but it's interesting to think about. Maybe the only thing that would stop him from going is learning that uncle Aaron is dead in the Spidermiles dimension. It's probably gonna be more like both Miles slowly learning from eachother. Spidermiles learning how he can breakout of the chains of fate that he rejects, and Miles 42... Learning not to be dead inside lmao

Considering after Aaron’s death (earth 1610) made Jeff let go of the past and remember how much he loved his brother, i can see something similar happening on earth 42. Meaning that that earth-42 Aaron likely wouldn’t let that Miles become what likely killed his father

It would be cooler for the plot if they made him a villain. Showing that the circumstances you are in are important and the decisions you make. Also it would be a great existential crisis for miles.

LOL yeah I can imagine there being a rare couple of universes with a Peter Prowler. I'd also be curious to see a universe with Peter as the Lizard but _doesn't_ die, like how he does in Spider Gwen's.

I think it'd be cool to see something similar to Ben 10 Omniverse's "And then there were none" happen. To summarize what I'm talking about, basically Vilgax gets ahold of a device that wipes out every version of Ben, except one, who didn't have the Omnitrix, and in original Ben's dying moment, he left his Omnitrix to the no-watch Ben. I think it'd be dope if this happened with Earth 42 Miles, and in the end we get to see him take on the mantle of Spider-Man which he was destined to become.

I thought we all knew he wasn’t a bad guy, they live in a universe where there is no one to stop the villains so he took that role

I don’t think the spider was supposed to bite the Miles Morales of earth 42. I’m pretty sure it’s just another spider Peter story.

no no in Earth 42 there was no pre-existing spiderman, miles was supposed to represent that universe own version of Peter Parker a version where it happened to someone else

You can put the capital ANTI in anti villain.. I still feel like you’d care a bit more about your dad from an alternate dimension. My theory is he’s a straight up villain and Miles will have to try and change his ways in the third film and possibly get him to anti villain status. I don’t see this version ever becoming a “hero” by any means.

Did you see the color schemes though? The original prowler is purple and green but earth 42 miles is blue and red, which is also the colors of Spider-Man(a good guy)

Why do you assume he's gonna trust the words of a COMPLETE STRANGER!?😭🤦‍♂️. Miles literally tied up Peter B in the first movie cause he did NOT trust him

If you think about it prowler miles rizzed up spider miles in that scene, he did the whole "hey" touch

No matter which dimensions, Miles always going to step up when there’s no spider-man. Be that as spider-man himself or the prowler.

I was thinking that maybe just maybe he will be good since he grew up in a bad place and would maybe want to make it better like his dad would have wanted? I also think that since earth 42 miles color scheme is red and blue(not the original purple and green that was shown) would equal that he is a good guy

And maybe miles-1610 could be like peter b parker for miles-42, teaching him the good basics of saving people and being a sign of hope. Maybe we'll even have a small moment with aaron-42 and miles-1610 where miles could hear that his uncle is proud of him and who he's become. Thoughts?

That’s exactly what I was saying lol Edit: though now that I think abt it, there’s another piece of evidence to support this: Almost every good guy in the Spider-Verse movies so far have worn a logo (the only one that didn’t was Gwen Stacy), and every bad guy in the Spider-Verse movies did not wear a logo. Same with the Prowler in ITSV: he did not wear a logo. But in ATSV, Prowler does have a logo. And while an anti-hero isn’t exactly a “good guy,” it would hint at Prowler-42 not being an out and out villain and instead be more like an anti-hero (probably similar to Batman, except he kills and has claws and gravity boots)

considering its heavily implied that miles of earth-42 was supposed to be the spiderman of his universe i imagine theres some good nature in him.

Imagine if that there was a “Spider-Man” that was a villain in this universe that didn’t actually get the powers obviously which led to something happening that killed Miles’ dad. That’s why when another version of Miles dressed up as Spider-Man, 42 Miles gets so triggered

@@yhadiel2804 what if there was a Spider-Man but since the canon event didn’t happen Miguel considered it unregistered as a universe with a Spider-Man. And that the powerless Spider-Man villain uses technology as his powers and takes the role of Prowler of sorts and so Miles becomes Prowler with his uncle to stop Spider-Man. And in all other universes, Prowler isn’t one of those “Daily Bugle Headliner” villains like Rhino or Electro, he operates in shadows and is pretty much unknown to the public. So if we were applying this logic to villain Spider-Man that’s why Rio doesn’t know who Spider-Man is, but Aaron does immediately. I don’t even know why I’m defending this theory so much tbh, but it’s fun to think about

I thought while watching the movie is that miles was suppose to be the bad guy not his uncle that means the suit(idk how to call it) that his uncle was wearing was suppose to be his but since he was bitten by the spider I could assume it turned his path around making him the good guy in his world

Miles love both his dad and uncle... it would be crazy if Miles-42 just ignore Miles who's asking for help in order to save his father.

I feel like if he were a good guy he wouldn’t tie someone up to a punching bag and try to blast their head off.

In theaters when I first saw this film and saw this version of Miles it eerily reminded me of the Flashpoint DC movie where Flash meets an alternate version of Batman Earth-42 gave off major Gotham vibes so if this theory is true it wouldn’t really surprise me really

He's a villain in a world where evil is on top, so we would consider him a good guy

I think it more shows that he COULD be a good guy. Not thst he is. Because he was supposed to be Spiderman.

The fact I haven't seen the movie and although saw countless Shorts etc. yet have no idea who's the villain of the movie. It looks Miguel O'Hara, Spot and Prowler Miles equally.

Maybe he’s a vigilante :p

I want 42 Miles to save one the our Miles' parents.
