Thanks Mike I just purchased this book on my Kindle Paperwhite for only $2.99 because of this review.

I’ve found that all of Robin Hobb’s series are slow burns but they are worth it.

Great to see. Ship of Magic does start out slow, but the interesting kind of slow.

It took me 9 months to read all the book, but what a wonderful journey though fantasy land. Very well none Robbin Hobb. More please.

I've read all of the Farseer books except this and am almost in the exact same spot you are. I like it so far.

And so it starts... I think you're really going to enjoy this trilogy. All I'm gonna say is, it's quite a ride.

I am in the middle of reading The Exorcist. I thought no way it is as good/scary as the last 50 years of hype. I was wrong, all the hype is well deserved!

Indeed. Fantastic book.

I am finishing up the Faithful and the Fallen but since you like this series I will read it next, in Mike I trust!
