Goderich is a small sleepy little town that i grew up in, and at this early time in the morning, there is hardly anyone awake or about. It is literally a ghost town at 2am!

And the name and age of the perpetrator? Is he out on Bail? Let's go back to the Juvenile Delinquents Act, when teen criminals were NOT permitted to be 'anonymous'....and ADULT responsibility for crimes....began at 16.

Letting this guy out, Kurtis Green, was clearly a threat to citizen's safety, yet 3 months after getting out on bail for very similar serious charges, and previous convictions for the same type of stuff in 2021, he is allowed to wreak havoc on the streets of Goderich. Criminals belong in jail.

Goderich went to contract policing while I was living there so calls a routed to a detachment out of town. The local police at the time was corrupt and useless. The Bluewater detention centre is not far from Goderich, makes it easier to incarcerate juvenile miscreants. Glad they caught the offender, young or not so young.

It is not city hall that is in the middle of the town square, it is the court-house. Often reffered to as the "Court-house square" It is more of an octagon than a square, but everyone calls it the 'square'

I was there in 1977 for a week, seeing the court house octagon from a hotel window, three stories up, whatever the bar was called, a big building on the corner.
