Eithe and Fundamental Force kinda remind me of Wylk and Paladin Sylvie respectively where Wylk was a premium unit while Paladin Sylvie was a standard unit and yet Sylvie was the one that you wanted to get between the two. Now granted unlike Wylk, Eithe is really really good and is very straight forward to use compared to him but is still overall weaker than the non premium unit she’s paired with.

Just as a reminder both are fire too so they can be useful for the Fire teams in a few weeks. They may even be better then the Tops like Cloud or Clive but we will see about that.

They aren't, but Fundy Force is actually decently closer to Cloud's, meaning the powercreep curve is less with her. Cloud and co are like 1000-1100x LB mods, while Fundy is only 880x, but TDW and the 50% fist imperil gets her closer than you'd think. Unless we get that 1.75x variance greatsword Sinz mentioned before. I kinda hope we don't, but if we do, TDH units like Cloud become massivley superior, but I guess there's only 1 at least. I don't know where the sword is from, though.

Just wanna point out FF 160% AoE race buffs are only for Physical and not Magical, while Eithne are for both Physical and Magical for the party, not too important but I think it's something to keep in mind outside CoW

I got semi lucky. I did the card step up and one of the feature banners....I got one of each so at least my Lapis were well spent

man it really feels bad, i spent all my resources on getting eithne ex 2 thinking she was the "premiun unit" but clearly fundamental force has a more premium kit than she does, doesnt make any sense, specially the 500 matk only in her kit, i'm trying to get fundamental force now

So 1st priority unit i want pull is fundamental is worth the.. Eitne, like usual mage not a higher damage dealer & low modified lb 😤

Just curious, has sinzar done a damage calculation for the JP units like Cloud etc? I have over 200k saved so I plan on pulling, but I would love to be able to compare these units with the upcoming overdrive characters

Cloud is more versatile then clive is locked on fire lb but Clive is leader skill good 1250

Will you do a vid on where Richt dps lands with all the buffs he get?

He's got him on the spreadsheet. He's like top 4 in CoW, but you need to use him on a team with both of them. It's also exclusively his base LB, the AMoE chain, that gets buffed because FForce only buffs morale attacks, and Eithne excluslely targeted it. Because the BS LB was untouched, his nom-CoW damage is still low, around Hyoh and Panthera, I think. At least Richt is a likely EX3 for people who got him last year, so EX2 Eithne and Fundy would just mean 3 more, probably supportive, EX3's.

Because square Enix as a whole is was not doing good so is slowing down in some areas but their latest report they're are refocusing what they are gonna focus on.

She does. Richt is still a decently strong unit with these recent buffs. At least a top 5 unit in COW

Eithne is worth getting a copy alone just for her STMR..I really love it. Of course Fundamental force is the stronger unit but with weaker TMR/STMR

Good units for a change?!? Now I really feel the game is about to EOS.

As always, the side-unit on the anniversary is way better than the main premium one. Wylk was just a card, Richt was a lot closer but Elena's LS made her a fixture in every cow until Ang, and now FF is just better but doesn't have the OP card. I'm glad though, Eithne is such an uninspired design.

I prefer Eithne more

This feels like Hyoh and Frostlord, but the difference wasn't as big and was mostly cringe because Frosty got over twice the votes of Hyoh, but Hyoh was so clearly a better unit. This time around it's the Premium being just notably worse because of how significantly less damage she deals. I think she absolutely didn't need to deal more damage than Fundy because of the 90% break, but the difference is definitely way too much. It once again feels like Frosty, and even A2. Worst unit, but way better gear. For them STMRs, for Eithne, it's her VC. Also Fundy gets a 600x LB mod base at NV+, and while Eithne's LB is single hit, Fundy gets to still be an EN chainer. With the NV+ stats, she probably could serve as the same carry as Hyoh for any players, like new ones, who don't have him. Or to use in conjunction with him. Also since she's TDW, and casts her best stat buff with her SLB along with her 50% fist imperil, B.Rikku's 300 Atk fist with chain speed will be nice.

Ngl, I've always found his character to be interesting. The way he's just such a mysterious and enigmatic character. After such a long time, they've finally given us a unit version of Veritas of the Frost and they allowed him to be outshone by another version of Rain. ffs

It's too late for that honestly..That bridge has already burned. There's not enough people spending money on the game anymore. They just trying to make as much money as possible before they announce EOS soon

A NV+ Premium unit? That idea alone is bullshit, considering that JP has more or less phased out NV premiums.

But how can she bet the premium when her she got 300% LB buff when Ethine had more buff of 500% or 400%. Edit: I’m gonna play Devil Advocate, @sinzar you say the maintained May fix the premium bug. What would happen if they do a Ester and Slyvie bait and switch? Making premium better but not the non premium.i think people will riot.

it doesnt make any sense that the premium unit wich requires more lapis to get the ex 2 has a noticeable worst kit, and a 500 matk static only??? wtf is that?? must be a bug it just doesnt make any sense, whats the premium trait here?? fundamental force has a more premium kit than eithne!, gumy needs to fix some things with her for sure
