When you hear him play on Bowie’s recordings it all makes sense ,he is just a solid rock and roll guitarist ,and when you think that Bowie could had the pick of any guitarist he used earl slick for over thirty years ,

I could watch stuff like this all day long, raw, simple, honest and just cool

The man is one of the best rock guitarists ever. I've always been a fan. Absolutely awesome.

Earls lead playing on David live is so good!Thats when he peaked in my opinion even though his probably a better all around player now but on David Live he had so much fire and his sound was amazing!

Hes a great interview. Great on camera, total showman no ego in the way. Passion driving perfection. Love his style.

Great guy, great guitar teacher. I'm very fortunate to have him teaching me play guitar.

Right on . As difficult as it is to define any Bowie album as a favourite, I find the one Im hearing is it.

I always told my kids if I ever get old and grumpy shoot me,so many people our age act like idiots.Earl is forever young.

Love Earl, seen him many times on Bowie tours, great guitarist, great guy.

The SG Chinese symbols - the neck pos means love and the tailpiece one means life or long life (its also a special word put on display at homes/parties to celebrate a special birthday like a 60th or 80th). The two symbols have no special meaning used together. Very nice and apt for the guitar!

I know he had one of my favourite guitars , the Burns Steer with the Tri Sonic pickup that Brian May uses . I've seen a photo of him using one . What an original bloke .

I never saw him but i saw Adrian Bellew and several others. Saw Bowie 3 times and got to hold his hand.❤

I love how he doesn't settle with big name brands and just digs deep to find what he needs. He even started his own affordable line of guitars under his name, which isn't very common in itself! The only other name that comes to mind is Zakk Wylde with Wyld Audio.

That customized 1965 SG Junior! SLICK... Playin' it like he's wearing his favorite pair of blue jeans. Talk about a guitar collection that favors the player, dude could design for a couture rock star fashion house.

I like his playing . He comes after Hendrix and Zappa . He is in the top 10 rock / blues /pop guitarists of all time . That means something to be in the top ten .

Earl Slick was a hired lead to play with David Bowie .... and a fine lead Earl gave to earn his way. But David is now gone!

I absolutely love Earl Slick . He really gave raw self talent of himself. Its what earned him the lead spot to a Db tour. I love really love and respect stone true artists . You gotta listen to your hitched to real good to know the true talents. I am a real good and old at it.

Met Earl in 1975 at The Beacon Theater, I think it was KISS concert, all I knew was people saying this man (Earl) has played on some favorite artists of mine albums - so I said hello and Mr .Slick couldn't have been nicer.
