I miss a friend of mine so much. We used to sing this song and play the guitar together.

The best ever band with the most beautiful artists - amazing talents- I am glad, I grew up with their music - so many lovely memories- love you guys- bless you all xx

The Eagles were - and still are - one of the very best groups around, and my favorite. Love the harmony and the voices in this one. Glenn Frey will be missed.

Funny how music becomes like an old friend. You listen to it for years. It's with you through the ups, the downs, and everything in between. And although the music lives on, it's like you lost a friend when the people who made that music passes on. Kinda sucks...but it's kinda cool, if that makes sense. RIP, Glenn Frey. Thanks for sharing that immense talent with all of us.

So true.....

I grew up with these great 70's and early 80's songs - I am 50 and I am so proud to have grown up in this era with all of these incredible songs and I too feel so sorry for all of these young kids these days who have no good music to listen to.

They do exist. ❤There are some wonderful musician and songwriters around amongst the crap. I am 64, so I grew up immersed in 60,', 70's, 80's, 90's music I am a classical musician, pianist, who did sing in bands. I have kept up my search for brilliant music, and have two young twin 25 Yr old who , like theur mum, search out good music and listen to my years in music too. I just went to see Nitin Sawney at The Albert Hall London, the level of mudicianship was top leve, world class. Proof , a member of led Zepp in alliance, Gilmore Pink Floyd, too many to mention. He had guest singers from.around the world, Louisiana , Canada, New York, India, endless talent.The trouble is, as a serious musician, you won't be known about, these days through main stream like in our time. They are not main stream any more, a lot of the time, so it's through word of mouth with younger people with top taste, or through social media platforms. 🙌🐾🐾💕🎶

Eagles will be an all time fave, I'll never get tired of listening to them...multi talented artists, fabulous vocals, superb lyrics...tequila sunrise is on top of the list !! One of the greatest bands everrr!!

My wife just told me that Glenn passed away. I put on Tequila Sunrise... and I just started crying

Spring of '73 just down out of the woods in Oregon and stopped in at Poor Richard's tavern in Santa Barbara to hear my brother Gary play and when he saw me he stopped the tune they were playing and said "here's a new tune I just learned cuz it reminds me of my Brother." It was my intro to Tequila Sunrise, even though I had been thru quite a few nights of shots of Tequila and the following Sunrise. The Best of Times!!! Play on Gary.

I was 19 in '73 when Desperado came out - "just a hired hand workin' on dreams I planned to try"... Yeah, this song... Tequila Sunrise... Huge part of me, then and now.

they are not old songs,they are real songs,not like the crap,that one hears nowadays.....

Hard to listen to this without crying. If there's a heaven, the sun never stops shining and the Eagles never stop playing.

So sad to hear of the great Glenn Frey's death. He was one of a kind--just an amazing talent, writing songs about things that people care about. The Eagles' music is essentially the soundtrack for our lives. R.I.P. Glenn--we love you!

Always been one of my favorite Eagles songs. Man, makes you think of the teen years in the late 70's and early 80's. those were the days.

Beautiful musicians, who put out beautiful lyrics, and their lyrics are always, right on!

RIP Glen, the Eagles were the best band ever.

There are lots of other great tunes of Eagles, but this one speaks to my soul.

I guess this song just evokes a time and a place we all want to get to when we are young (even if it does not exist). The Eagles are amazing in their ability to conjure up worlds. Even when they are singing of serious heart-break, you want to be there.

My favorite thing to do is to lay down turn this song all the way up in my headphones and close my eyes and just imagine that everything is perfect. It's really easy to get lost in his voice. R.I.P. Glenn Frey, you really are a true legend.

The combination of these two guys was really special. Those of us who have been fortunate enough to live in California can attest to the way they were able to capture the west coast lifestyle through music. Glenn Frey and Don Henley....the world is lucky that the two of you met!

To all those wonderful talented Eagles.. what harmonies we had..what memories we now have of them.. your legacy we never fade.. thank you so much....

Picked this up 23 years ago and still enjoy it as it was recorded three weeks ago. This turns most of the current music industry into shallow fastfood

One of my all-time favorite Eagles masterpieces. Thanks for the memories, Glenn. Will forever be a favorite for me through the ages. Released on June 9, 1973, reaching #64 on July 21, 1973 Should have been #1. Go figure! I was traveling in India when I was stunned by the news. You left us much too early. R.I.P., bro.

They wrote this after a night on the turps...Frey on straight tequila and strumming some riffs...Henley put words to it and voila.....a hit song in no time. an Eagles classic

I'm so upset by the death of such a wonderful musician. A lot of people in my generation will never know what good music is. I'm glad my dad raised me on this and took me to see them. At only 19, I know almost every Eagles song by heart. Whenever I felt down their music helped me. Such a tradgedy. 😞 Keep playing the gutair in heaven Glenn. RIP 💔
