EAGALA Model Equine-Assisted Psychotherapy for the Military
EAGALA’s Military Services video illustrates why EAGALA Model equine-assisted psychotherapy is becoming a leading form of treatment for military personnel and their families.

Thank you EAGALA for this video! We are proud to represent the state of New Jersey as an EAGALA "Military Services Provider" certificate program. We have been serving PTSD combat veterans with the EAGALA Model program "OPERATION HORSE" since August 2012.
These are wonderful programs. I wish we had programs like this in the inner cities also. Many people there have PTSD just from living in those environments. Programs like these could cut anger and crime by 90%. Thank you for making and sharing this video. Horses are the most healing of animals.

Operation Horse and veterans programming needs funding! We have more veterans seeking services than we have funders. Frustrating when the VA has millions of dollars marked for "alternative mental health" and none of it can be applied to EAP for lack of Evidence Based Research. Hopefully the research project that we spearheaded for 9 months with Columbia University (now being done at another program in NJ) will be completed and successful to show the viability of EAP/EAT and therefore help us ALL find the funding dollars needed to save lives! :)
