pretty sure they make the first champion fight easy and made to be one good hit is a knockout, seen a few youtubers do it, watched josh do it within his first clean shot

You still might want to improve cut resistance for when you deal with more strikers or move up in weight. Also, improve leg strength to avoid injury to the legs and recovery to help if the fight goes long.

Well you could also just win on the ground v strikers. The rubber guard and leg triangle is really good in this game, makes being on bottom actually decent if you level your ground game so I don't mind ground and pound now because if they reverse I just pull a rubber guard into leg triangle.

@@OSYofRR That is a viable option but you got to try to get to the ground without taking a stray shot. If he goes for a takedown and the AI throws a punch or a kick and it lands then he is very likely to get cut.

They playing that "you looking at a champioooon" imagine getting knocked out within 10 seconds of the fight after that 💀

I really hope they tone down the redness on the face of fights during submissions. It looks so weird seeing darker skin tones turn bright red.

Use the heavy bag for fitness it's slept on cuz that's basically all it helps for that and longevity cuz you don't have to worry about injuries hitting the bag

All the career mode youtubers sleep on the bag. You need the bag in week one when you're not fit enough to spar and final weeks before a fight when you need to avoid injury and get fitness up. They need to realise you can't just spam clinch to train the clinch, you need to jab into range, or low kick than grab, work on the entry. You have to think like a fighter, not a gamer.

When you just cross the peak fitness threshold in a sparring session, you should continue punching and kicking to increase it beyond that threshold if that is your last week of training and last sparring session. Because when you go to fight week, your fitness drops a bit... So you go back to medium fitness.

Yo Martial, Just a tip. If you try not to get injured when simulating a week, In ufc 4 your week points have to be 15 or lower. Not sure if it works in Ufc 5 though.

I wonder if they removed some of Bruces presentation because its more work for him to go record new lines for any new fighters they plan to add in the future, so they minimize the amount he said so its a quicker process for newer fighters
