instead of making them slow at the beginning they should just make it where as the fight goes ur stamina drains and that makes u slower.

You are getting the Rocky start just with less boxing experience before we met the fighter. On the plus side, no mini-games but that may change in the future. On the downside, you start out as a "bum" as Rocky's old trainer used to say.

The speed of these punches makes it seem like they have medicine balls for gloves. They really need to raise the base punch speed

The thing ppl don't realize is that you have to move in order to throw the fast punches in the game, if you stay in one spot an throw punches they are going to be slow an lack power, try moving you left analog left an right when throwing left an right hooks of punches and left analog back and forth when your throwing punches moving towards your opponent or when moving away from you opponent

yea makes me mad when they don’t directional punch or when u hold L1 u can throw faster combos , flicking left stick back gives u a quick step back to counter, but gameplay definitely needs work FNC is smoother by miles

I just played for the first time in a while and was impressed by the damage modelling.

Mane glad to see they added something before the pros im going to start my play through tomorrow on steam deck

I think they should have it where you start out with more points to spend on athleticism (speed, strength, endurance) only. You're right about how it doesn't make sense to start off so slow or so weak, etc. The skills like accuracy, footwork, combinations, etc, should have to be gained through practice and with fighting experience.

Lets go career mode’s finally here

Weave mechanics and being able to throw a punch from different angles really made FNC more realistic for me ,but almost all the other things are already better in this early version of the game. I just hope they will try and add these features in future , but overall its a very good boxing game.

At the start they should give you options of "styles" or as they each have pros and cons like speed, power, movement althetism, or heavy offense but bad defense or vice versa. Or have a bunch of them. Or give you an option where you get a primary skill/specialty (get above average compared to starting stats), a secondary speciality (slight boost) but each for primary and secondary have trade offs and a third specialty that can give a small boost to maybe counter act the some trade offs or to boost what you're already good at. Adds a lot of customization and can make replaying it feel fresh for the beginning

Lol Undisputed needs more animations. There's no reason you should have to come back to the center line to counter after slipping a punch. Offense needs to be incorporated into the defense.

How did the punches feel? Looks like there's still a lack of impact. You can see it in a few ways. Look at the gaurd when a punch hits it, it's completely stiff. Looking forward to Monday to get my hands on it and see for myself.

Yeah, it wouldn't be hard. Just delete 90% of what they have done, and re do it all. Its a terrible game at this stage after 5-6 years. I'd rather someone just reprograms Knock Out Kings 1 for PC....

Love the series

Would be nice if they could have fighters wearing proper amateur gear for the am tournament! Blue Vs Red headguards, gloves and shorts. It would just give the whole thing that little bit more realism. Game is looking pretty nice so far though. People need to learn that if you support the devs and realise that they are fans of Boxing and making a Boxing game because they love it, the money they make will help to go towards making this game better and also making a future sequel to this title. It might seem like it's not good enough yet or that EA could just throw something together in an instant, but at least this Dev team cares about making a quality Boxing game, with features that we all want to see and a good level of realism. If you don't support them then how can they grow and make changes?

Martial you gotta learn to counter. My favourite counters are when you bait your opponent to throw, step just out of range so he misses then quickly throw a body jab which will stun him. Then go for the head combo

One thing the animation lacks is the subtle hand movement feints when a boxer is loading up to strike.

Defo need to hit them body counters when you get the chance

@Martial Mind The AI is getting better I see😮. When your throwing the left hook manage your distance. The closer you are the more likely he'll theow that nasty looking hook you dislike lol. A little distance and timing he'll deliver 90 percent of the time.

The sound effects are really good, I like how you can hear the out breath when they punch just like in the "corona fights" and the realistic punch hits. The graphics are also pleasing to the eyes, but good God is the animations sluggish. It looks like they are fighting with a backpack full of weights. One thing I dislike about new fighting games is the input lag and generally just unresponsive controls. Game developers focus more on impressive graphics than fluid controls.

I’m Glad They Letting People Play Career Mode I Was Starting To Think This Game Wasn’t Coming Out

you probably figured it out by now but I just started the series and my own career mode Seems like you want to really work on speed and accuracy early on so you don't feel like a dyslexic slug. Once you start moving how you want, the lower power doesn't matter because you are so much more in control and then you can focus on the power later definitely a weird balance for career but you can make it work
