Couple of people get confused over things in this video, so I'm going to make it clear. First of, this is Ultimate Team in UFC 2 beta. I play against AI. My character was OVERALL 62! sometimes you get easy opponents, with the same overall level, but sometimes when it is title defense the fights could go up until the end of fifth round! It happened to me multiple times. Fake glove touching....I didn't fake touch, I just started the round right away, I fought 120 ultimate team matches so you can Imagine how tired I am of touch gloves with AI, and I finish most of the mathches in under 1 minutes. People, I just wanted to show you how amazing this game will be when it launches, I gather a nice clip to show you how the new KOs look like, and some of you come at me because of fake touch. It is just a game. AGAINST AI. Have fun everyone.

Impressive physics for sure this year in UFC. I wasnt going to get the game at first but after seeing this video it is a must for me.

I like it too. you can see a lot of straight punch knockouts in real fights, especially orthodox vs southpow. It should be power punch for sure

When in an actual fight when someone tko'd do they just lie there before recovering? The tko sequence in this game looks like the got knocked out and then beat on without covering up for like 10 seconds before realizing 'oh yeah I'm in a fight' and wake up

+luis dyche You can watch almost every ko, even a recent one like McGregor vs Aldo. After Mcgregor KNOCKS HIM OUT, he hammer fists Aldo's head in an effort to FINISH THE FIGHT

I want to know do they have incentives to keep people from cheesing the reaches and heights online. 2k made it so that when people started becoming freakishly tall and what not they lose things like vertical and speed. Does ea have any type of checks and balances like that in this game?

What underpass did you find these bums at

So they fix the overly repetitive KO system and add real physics to make ko's look different but when you go to finish it or do extra shots once their down it seems like it's the same one. Knee on stomach and hammerfists. There's so many ways to finish it once their down. Dan hendersons leaping hammerfist, punches with both hands, mount them if they land right, punches without even having to follow him down, etc. Do they even watch MMA/UFC fights.

I love the ufc games, I just wish the controls weren't so much to remember. I just be high and trying to play the game.

I really want to play against who ever is getting these knock outs because i think he/she would probably be a challenge if we played in either ea sports ufc or ea sports ufc 2

You can take much more of a beating in the EA games than you can in undisputed 3. I had a lot of online fights going to decision.

+Ola_RM it definitely looks faster than a real fight, but that's cuz EA games in most cases aren't exactly simulations but more arcade-y, if you know what I mean. Undisputed 3 was more realistic in certain ways but to me personally EA's UFC is a bit more fun.. at least from what I played in the beta (haven't played the first EA UFC though)

real UFC matches when the fighter goes down hard out cold the ref stops the fight but here it seems like there are no direct KOs and when finishing the fight if the fighter is not defending himself immediately the ref stops the match needs adjustments

uh... some fighters do stop themselves tbh, if they know there opponent is finished, since there's no point in destroying an unconscious opponent and causing more damage. The refs do call the fight but in the *beta* it was sometimes from a distance so you couldn't really see the stoppage.

No they have changed it so now you can either block low or high whereas in the first game you could hold l2 and it would be a weak block for anything

They should appear hurt and maybe drop while still attempting to cover up. If they get knocked out they go limp because a punch gets through their guard or the get tko'd because they are taking a lot of punishment without being able to respond or have just turtled up.

Also when someone gets knocked out the momentum of the punch doesn't slam them around like rag doll. It catches them and they go limp and fall in the direction their momentum was already taking them. Either that or the momentum of the punch directs them in a more subtle manner, not the ridiculous rag doll you see in this game.

pouncing on them ruined the knockout. just let them stay all ragdoll
