E9 There are no words!

Well, it's another few days of working on the boat. In this episode, Chris comes to do the pump out twice, but it's a no go. First time because the cap won't come open (and boy did he try!) second time, just nothing sucked out.
So, Captain Mike comes by and we discover the waste tank lid is completely loose and the tank is full of water. It looks way scarier (and grosser) than it really was. Jim had it repaired in no time!
And, of course, the AC goes off again... sadly, it will have to happen a few more times before I figure out what's causing the HP errors.
Then, it's time to close up the boat and head for Texas! But don't worry, we'll finally close the sale July 28th and I'll be back on August 1 to really tear into the repairs!
If you need a pump out, give Chris a call! Marine Waste Pumping 954 406-6680 (I am not paid for this. He was just super cool and nice despite all the issues with my boat!)

For once the algorithms suggest a channel of interest to me. Maybe because I'm subscribed to the Motor Yacht Loon Channel. I live on board & look after a 145ft ex German Navy Minesweeper built in 1956, in Cape Town Harbour, with an equal length superyacht double banked alongside me, which is undergoing a refit, so channels like your's are of great interest to me. As a result, I've subscribed & clicked the bell for notifications, so that I can get all your updates. But first, I have to go back to the beginning & see how it all started. I wish you the best of luck on your journey. It's not for the fainthearted & will come with many challenges, but I can assure it will all be worthwhile. 😊

I’m sure he checked but make sure the y valve for the waste tank is open towards the waste tank/pump out deck fitting. Waste will not flow during the pump out if the valve is set towards the macerator. Another tip - don’t leave it open towards the macerator when inland. You can get a hefty fine if inspected by the poop police.

Check your valves, one way sends the shizen overboard, the other way sends it to the holding tank. One valve for each head. If whatever was in the holding tank didn't pump out, most likely the draw tube has corroded away.

Grats on your new boat!!!! Good for you! email me pictures!!! I love to see them! Maybe we can meet up for drinks =-) Ask around, word of mouth is the best, docksearch, craigslist, snagaslip, facebook market place are good places to look for private slips... there's a few marinas here, but wait lists are long and they are PRICEY! Most private slips do not want liveaboards... the city has passed a law prohibiting it. I can't stay on my boat anymore, either. I rent a room close by, but as soon as I'm done with the systems, I'm out of here. =)
