It's definitely up there, but some of their early stuff is better imo.

throughout the whole interview you can see everyone’s faces light up when they remember something fond of the process and it just feels so human. rick really brings out the best in artists.

This is the most I’ve ever heard nikolai talk ever

the way that they all said goodbye to Rick really made it seem like they were all kids in school talking to their best and favorite teacher from the year before

I wondered why I loved the production on this album so much and then I found out it was done by Rick Rubin and it made so much sense. What an amazing record, I'm obsessed with The Strokes now and it couldn't have happened at a better time.

Loved these episodes. Seeing the guys be themselves aside from their musician positions as a band is amazing. Also, I loved hearing Rick's perspective.

@The Arrayz, it was a good year personally for me. Didn't mean to say that it's the same with other people. I know about all that awful stuff that happened in 2020, but still there were some good events and other things, which made 2020 truly unforgettable and not only in a bad way as I think

This album is an absolute masterpiece..thanks Ze Strokes, Rick and the gods of music

About global consciousness, and Julian question at the end, i believe the human race is a seven billion (and counting) head hydra, with roots that mesh together. I believe Jung writes about that. Deep beneath our consciousness layers, the layers on unconscious are shared between humans (and maybe other living beings?) like we share some deep roots.
