Very important conversations to have. I wish this was a series. Make it so. The juxtaposition of artist and “intellectual thinker” lends itself to the modern day generational divides. This comment section disappoints me. Some people clearly had no idea what they're talking about. All these comments about "Jules is awkward, aww" and "OMG it said Modern Age".. Why don't you learn a bit about what they're saying. There is always a dictionary and Google...

Such a good insight and interview. Always knew their music touched on this subjects but to interview n research wow big respect Julian. On the other note. Maybe every generation feels the same who am I to judge but my generation me being born in 91 is the most lost confused hopeless f'ed up generation. Thank you society.

Thank you for this ! I like Casablancas even more now that I know that we share the same political opinions. It was a very interesting video. He should interview Chomsky next ! Loved the quote of Camus at the end, one of my favorite writers.

Julian is one of the few true artists left in this day and age, if there were more singers like him instead of the moronic unimaginative mainstream artists of today who can't write a single intelligent lyric people's minds and music would be much better off.

More interviews by Julian! something about this really attached me to the interview, even though I am not deeply interested in politics (I'm am on 13 by the way xD), would love to see another one :).

It would be great if you put subtitles for Latin America, cause Henry G. is a thinker who transcends borders, and is very, very important for the educational professionals.

More stuff like this please in the music world. This is what it's all about. Media has tried to separate music and politics as much as possible. Well done Rolling Stone keep up content like this please, real content about what matters and the environment where music grows out from.
