E3 2021 Impressions

E3 is back and it hasn't left much of an impact. The majority of this year's event was filled with practically nothing (at least not for me) until Nintendo came in but even then there were only a handful of announcements from their presentation that really excited me. So it's time for some short impressions on this overall uneventful event.

Since Kazuya is the next DLC character, I will expect to see lots of Spirits from Tekken. As well as music.
Yeah the only highlights for e3 for me were tmnt in brawlhala, mario and rabbids 2, (but even then those got leaked beforehand) and nintendo's e3 and that's basically it.

Brief fun fact since cartoon network characters are also in brawlhala and with tmnt in brawlhala now, this means that we finally have cartoon network and nickelodeon characters in the same thing now. (Granted tmnt isn't a proper nicktoon per say but still it counts imo) The cartoon network ips that appears in brawlhala are steven universe, ben 10, and adventure time btw.

Also dang i feel bad that a handful of danganronpa stuff got spoiled for you beforehand.
I know a fighting game channel called MrMetroidDread. That's where I first heard metroid dread.

I've played Tag Tournament 2 and 7. I'm also familiar with the events of the previous games.
On god you need to play danganronpa 2 and 3 anyway, there are hella fine regardless if you know the spoilers or not

Honestly, I knew some spoilers for the first Danganronpa when I watched the Game Grumps Let's Play and it was still fun to figure out how point A connected to point B.
Was anyone really surprised that Nintendo was gonna win E3, AGAIN?!
E3 was just so underwhelming this year. I saw Ubisoft's, Square's, Microsoft/Bethesda's, Capcom's, and Nintendo's presentations, and outside of Nintendo, none of them were good. Ubisoft's was boring. I know a lot of people are excited for the sequel to Mario + Rabbids, but I didn't care about the first game and don't care about this one. Square's was just bad all the way through, especially in regards to the Guardians of the Galaxy game. We didn't need to see that much gameplay! Microsoft/Bethesda's was also boring, except for Psychonauts 2. That actually got me excited, but other than that, nothing else appealed to me. Capcom's was so unnecessary. With the exception to the Great Ace Attorney games, literally everything in it was stuff we already knew about. Nintendo clearly won E3 by a LONG way. The announcements of Metroid Dread and BOTW 2 made me really happy. I'm also interested in the three collections of Super Monkey Ball, Danganronpa, and Life is Strange. If only Sony had shown up.

@@user-tk9fm2sw5g Hard to say. We really didn’t get much. The story seems mildly interesting, but until we get more, I’m not sure what to think.
